We stayed here, in the fishing creel cabin, last weekend for my husband's birthday. It was a perfect weekend away and a perfect place to stay. The cabin was so cozy with a large comfortable bed, comfortable chairs, and a jetted tub - just to name a few. They offer wine to enjoy in the cabin and movies to watch together. The details for decoration and comfort are top notch. We chose to have breakfast delivered to our room and it came in a basket with a whole setup of dishes, salt, pepper, napkins, etc. to enjoy in our cabin and it was absolutely delicious both mornings. My husband talked to Richard when he delivered it and Richard was very kind. We met Theresa when we were checking out and she was very nice as well. I highly recommend staying here. We visited the Columbia Gorge River area in off season but found ourselves incredibly lucky to have sunny weather while there. In one of the hikes we took as recommended by the host Theresa, we came across a fellow hiker who told us she loved to visit at this time of the year because it is the time "the earth comes back to life". This summed up our stay in the Salmon Berry Cabin. We enjoyed every minute in our cabin enjoying the comfortable bed, hot tub, gas fireplace , cozy but stylish décor and attention to detail. We opted to have our homemade breakfast delivered to our room and found ourselves in pure joy with a wonderful selection of quiche, breakfast meats and other delicious treats. A variety of wine is offered for purchase, a wonderful addition to amenities offered onsite. On a second recommended hike, show shoes were provided for us and we took an enchanted snow shoe hike through the forest. We sincerely appreciated the local area hikes. restaurant recommendations and authentic care for our happiness while there. We enjoyed excellent massages in our cabins organized by Theresa - much needed after all the hiking and good for the spirit. On our last morning there, I took a walk around the grounds and found myself surrounded by peace and beauty. …

Carson Ridge Cabins is truly a magical place. The cabins are absolutely stunning and the perfect place for relaxation and rejuvenation. The breakfast served to our door was delicious, and very accomodating to our dietary needs! Theresa and Richard were so kind and hospitable, providing us with recommendations for where to eat and things to do in the snow. We will definitely be back!

I wish I could rate more stars for this fantastic property. Richard & Theresa treated us like family. Richard (the owner) personally checked us in to our cabin (St. Helens) and helped us with our luggage. We had breakfast in our stay included and I will recommend everyone to get breakfast added. Theresa home cooks every breakfast and is a fabulous baker. The cabin itself has everything you need for a great stay. Due to covid, we did not get housekeeping however the staff was so attentive. They would leave us a basket of fresh towels and amenities everyday. We also got soda, snacks, hot chocolate and popcorn in our cabin which was a nice touch. Highly recommend staying here. We cannot wait to come back.

First I have to say that breakfast was absolutely delicious! I wish I would have brought containers to take home the leftovers. Lol. The stay was great. The owners/management have given amazing attention to detail. We were super impressed by all the amenities. From the cheese board and knife, to the Q-tips in the bathroom. Such a nice place to stay, I would love to come back during spring or summer! Will be recommending this place to friends and family. I wish I knew what kind of sheets are on the bed? Those were so soft and comfy! Also, so glad we were able to get onsite massages. What a treat!
