Always warm and friendly- they turned on the heat in the cabin ahead of time and every one is helpful and friendly. We stay here frequently and the service is consistently top notch. Our favorite TT campground.

This is a Thousand Trails and Encore Park as well. I'm very disappointed with the upkeep of this park. This park has two sections. One smaller old and one newer and much larger. The larger one is closed this time of year however is the...More

Birch Bay has something for everyone, I would recommend it to all whom inquire seeking a comfortable, friendly and close the beach and Canadian border. The sunsets are awesome and there are planned events in both Birch Bay and nearby Blaine.

Grounds were kept up and it was not too wet for the rainy weather. Under a lot of trees in the phase we were forced to stay in as the open phase was closed for some reason. I'm not sure why unless they keep it...More

Spent 3 weeks here while caravanning with my parents. This place is wonderful! Phase 1 I think is a bit better for families with kids, just cause the jungle gym, pool and all other kid related activities are there. Phase 2 is a bit nicer...More

I agree with you completely!! If they did the repairs and fixes in the off season there would be no need for shutting off the water in the peak season! This is not the first time....last year, one of the times it was off, it was off for 3 days in a row!!! In most businesses, you would have to close down or make accommodations for those that are staying at your hotel, resort, campground.....NOT HERE! As far as the "speed and signs" go...completely agree there too!! It is a bit obnoxious with all the childish signs throughout the park...the staff does not always go 5 mph?? Thousand Trails is a great disappointment to many....I have met several people in the last year or so that are either getting rid of their membership or will not be back to this one Thousand Trails in particular. They also seem to be charging you for everything!!! The latest being all guests are charged $10.00 per person per day, whether they drive in, walk in, or bike in??? With all these extra charges for this and that tells me they (Thousand Trails as a whole) is hurting financially. It is obvious that they choose what they are going to enforce and sadly, most of it is towards families.....
