Excellent location. Comfortable room. Innkeeper very helpful with parking instructions and other recommendations. Would stay here again. Highly recommend. Stayed in George Washington room overlooking street. Was a little noisy in the wee hours when there was street maintenance. Probably quieter in the back.

The Fife & Drum is a really great place to stay while visiting William & Mary or Colonial Williamsburg. It is in the heart of town and adjacent to some of the best places to eat, ie Aromas Cafe, The Blue Talon, and Kilwins. The rooms are clean & comfortable and the staff is wonderful. Breakfast is delicious and served...

We had planned a visit for our anniversary to Williamsburg. We had previously stayed at Williamsburg Inn many years ago. Due to renovations to the Inn this was not an option. We decided to try Fife and Drum Inn. It was a great experience. Very clean the most important on our list of needs. The owners are from Williamsburg and...

We have been coming to the Fife and Drum for over 13 years, now. The quality, cleanliness, cheerfulness from owner and staff, and atmosphere, is unmatched by any other establishment we have visited. The Inn has the charm of a B-n-B yet the accommodations of a 5 star hotel. Each room is fully furnished with it’s own private full bathroom,...

It was important that we stayed in a place that felt special, we hoped it would even be historic, but with young kiddos sometimes B&B are not a great fit. This was not the case at Fife & Drum because they have a wonderful cottage, separate from their main building, it provided us a perfect place to relax and enjoy...

It's located within the blocked off streets of Colonial WB, and the College of WM is across the street. Easy walking distance to all things Colonial Williamsburg. Very cool old rooms, brought up to high modern standards. The building has been in the same family that runs the inn for a long time. You can really feel the pride taken...

Each room is different and a lot of care has gone into decorating them. Since visits to Williamsburg are all about the history, I love the fact that the history of the hotel is featured in the rooms. The breakfast is fine. promptly served at 8, and plenty of food. The TVs are very small- didn't matter to us, we...

This was a great locale with friendly management who were helpful and took very good care of us! Clean room, easy to get everywhere. We could park our car and get anywhere by walking. Owners catered to anything that we needed. We will come back.

Perfectly located to walk everywhere in town! The York room was perfect for our family and the common area was an added bonus to hang out with the other guests. Breakfast was a treat and the Innkeepers made you feel right at home. Staying at the Fife & Drum Inn added so much to our Williamsburg experience!
