Sites are clean but close together. No free firewood despite what it states on their web page as being free, $5 per small bundle. . No noise control after 10 pm, you need to lodge a complaint the next day, by then its pointless. Nice friendly staff. Free wifi was generally reliable No active entry/ exit security control so watch...

We were 3 families travelling together. They placed us all side by side and close enough to the park that we could see the kids playing. The campground was a little tighter than I prefer but the paved pads were nice, the bathrooms were clean and never ran out of hot water! A steel drum set on bricks was delivered...

This our second stay here. First was in Oct 2016 and now we are back for Easter weekend. We've liked American Heritage RV Park from the first time we stayed. The staff was friendly and the facilities are always clean. Since this campground is close to Busch Gardens and downtown Williamsburg, it is always busy and this weekend is no...

We love the Williamsburg area, and in fact we are returning again this year. Whenever we head to the tidewater area with our RV, we only have one destination in mind. American Heritage is located slightly off the neaten path and on a small street called Maxton Lane. The entrance will be on your left, and you don't want to...

Brand new cabins were on point! However, they were cluttered as they had not been put in their final places. The pool was great and the staff was super friendly. Will definitely go back in the future.

We were at this campground in early winter. The sites were paved and level. The bathhouse was immaculate and had plenty of hot water. We stayed 4 nights. The staff was nice and the access to interstate 64 was very convenient. There is a grocery store and restaurants within 2-3 miles. We would recommend this campground to anyone looking to...

We had a mostly good experience. It's in a good location, each site has a nice concrete patio, and we never had any major issues. However, we didn't have a great experience with check in. There was a young lady in the office, and she was not very helpful in any aspect. I was hoping for someone who could help...

Our first visit to this large & very attractive campground, easy off/on VA Route 64. We stayed here to break up the trip to & from Northern Virginia to Rodanthe, Outer Banks, NC. Reservations (probably not necessary in Oct/Nov) were easy to make - efficient check-in. Well equipped camp store. We had Site 22, which was large enough for our...

We have stayed in a lot of campgrounds around the country and this rates in the top 10. The employees go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. The grounds are kept immaculate and the cable and Wifi are error free, I have been to grounds great ratings and lousy wifi and tv. Very enjoyable stay and very...

The staff there are rude. And to the fact you reserve one site and once you get there the original site you reserve isn't available.. not worth the money for the sites. I doubt our family will return.
