The good: 1. It was extremely cheap for those on a budget! This is one of the most important things to us so this is always a plus. It was 32 dollars (including tax) on hotels.com for a night. 2. Location is excellent. It is right in the center of tons of shoppes and restaurants. Locally centralized between Jamestown and...

We booked this hotel spur of the moment because of the price and location. Let's just say, it would have been worth the money to stay ANYWHERE else. This hotel was absolutely HORRIBLE. First we got to our room and immediately found not one but TWO cockroaches on the floor. Disgusting. The room was hot and muggy and the A/C...

We stayed in the Travel lodge Williamsburg Central on Richmond road for two nights this last weekend while visiting Bush Gardens. The hotel had what looked like to be a nice pool, but we didnt get a chance to use it because we spent most of our time out on the town. The Manager was very helpful and friendly, the...

worst place I've ever stayed. Booked after a lot of research but think I was reading the reviews of the bypass rd travelodge. This one, on Richmond Rd. is terrible! I thought is seemed a little gross but thought it was just me. I was in my room for less than 10 minutes. I was sitting on the bed and...

I give this overall a 3 but for the price it really deserves a 4; it is an excellent value at $35. It was off-season, but William and Mary's homecoming, so there was demand for rooms in town. I found the room clean, the beds OK, and everything overall OK. Nothing fantastic, but all acceptable. Which is more than I...

I'm not sure how this hotel rates as high in the rankings as it does. Could be on it's past or maybe just the price. Anything under $40. in Williamsburg is certainly a bargain. We were given what looked like the smallest room in the place on the second floor. It was so small that an extra table and chairs...

We have never been to Virginia before, and my husband booked the room through the Williamsburg chamber of commerce. It was worth the money, but the rooms were so dirty. We actually went out, and bought cleaning supplies. The pool was a joke. Good thing we only went in it once on the last night before we left. The breakfast...

We got this motel from expedia, so averaged at 57 a night (REALLY good price) and the co-owner let us add an extra night for a reduced rate because we are having so much fun!! (we are still here) Yeah, it's not the swankiest place, our first room was so small the table had to sit in front of the...
