Stayed here for two nights to see Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. I would give the Woodlands a rating of 5, but the first morning I found a towel from the previous guests hanging on the shower curtain rod. After being gone for the day and coming back, the room had been cleaned, but there was a paper coffee cup...

For the price paid, I was expecting more. However, the location of the hotel was excellent. The rooms are definitely just average. The breakfast area can get very crowded, but there is additional seating in the patio area. We didn't use the shuttle. Everything was within walking distance.

We took our 2 girls (ages 11 and 7) on a side trip to Williamsburg as part of our recent trip to Washington DC. We spent 1 night at this hotel. When I first booked this hotel, the rate was right at $100 for the night. As the trip approached, I seriously considered moving from this hotel to another one...

Stayed at the Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel in September and found it to be beautiful, comfortable, & conveniently located. Breakfast was delicious and, while the eating area was quite crowded due to a special educational promotion, the lines moved quickly and friendly staff directed us to alternate locations as needed. A few hours after check-out, when we returned to our car...

This is a large hotel is geared towards families. If I'd known how big and impersonal it was I wouldn't have stayed there. The room was clean but nothing to write home about decor-wise. Beds were small (I thought I had booked for 2 queens but they were more full sized) and hard. Walls are thin - I had to...

I stayed here recently with my family. It was just an overnight, during a Thursday in Winter, and the hotel was practically empty. The room we were given was a standard hotel room with two double beds and an over sized chair that folded out to a cot at night for my 9 year old. It was clean and a...

The hotel room was excellent and service staff was top notch, one morning during the continental breakfast there was a dog in the lobby with his owner and a black lady from the service staff asked the owner if he could have some breakfast so she made him a plate and brought it to him this made the dog and...

Stayed at the Woodlands Hotel in Williamsburg for 2 nights. We upgraded to the king suite. It is actually 2 rooms. One has the king bed and the other has a sofa bed. We chose an end room, 107 steps from the elevator. We never heard another person during our entire stay. Breakfast was nice. Make your own waffle station,...

We enjoyed the hospitality---location---and the excellent continental breakfast. Breakfast included eggs and some meat---waffles---cereal---fresh fruits---breakfast cake---bagels etc. Nearby shuttle and Huzzah restaurant are convenient. We had good value for the money.

Great service and quality. Perfectly located for visiting Williamsburg. The staff is very helpful. They provided umbrellas for our walk over the restaurant in the rain. Breakfast is OK but does have a wide variety to choose from.
