My wife and I have stayed in B&B's all over the east coast of the US, and War Hill Inn rates among the best. We camped out there while waiting for hurricane Matthew to finish it's business on The Outer Banks. We had to wait longer than originally planned, and Will, War Hills innkeeper was extremely accommodating. The spacious grounds...

We booked one of the Cottages at War Hill Inn and it was absolutely wonderful. Will the owner was wonderful and very informative. We are planning to stay there again when we can. I would recommend this Inn to anyone looking for some R&R and Great Breakfasts!

Recently stayed in the Washington cottage at War Hill. My husband and I had traveled with his sister and brother in law to Virginia to trace footsteps of ancestors heavily represented in the Jamestown colony and other areas in Virginia. Wanted to end our incredible trip with 2 days in a Bed and Breakfast away from the busy tourist areas....

We so enjoyed our 2 day stay at War Hill Inn. The cottage is beautiful and comfortable. The owner Will is personable and welcoming. The breakfasts are memorable. The French toast was spectacular indeed. I highly recommend War Hill. Best, Candace Killman

My college roommates and I stayed in one of the cottages on the property and it was perfect for us. The location is not too far from anything, and it was wonderful to come "home" and sit in the swing enjoying the quiet and the breeze while having a glass of wine and visiting. And the breakfasts were delicious and...

We loved the breakfasts every morning, the visiting with the host after breakfast each day, the afternoons sitting in the shade on the swing, the great location. We visited Williamsburg each day...

My two college roomies and I stayed in the Washington Cottage for a week. It couldn't have been more peaceful and was only a 10 minute drive to everything we wanted to see and do. The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the pancakes and french toast. Our host, Will, could not have been more hospitable. You will not be disappointed and...

Great place to stay, very comfortable if not dated. The owners go out of there way to assure you of a very restful visit. Close to Colonial Williamsonburg and premium outlet shopping mall.Take a short stroll around the property and check out the Angus cattle which they raise.

We stayed in the Wilson suite which was perfect as it had a separate bedroom for our son. We love to stay in Bed and Breakfast Inns when we are traveling without our RV. War Hill Inn is now at the top of our list! Will is a great host and the Inn is in a quiet area away from...

My husband and I loved our recent stay in the Washington Cottage. The bed was extremely comfortable and we particularly appreciated the additional privacy. The farm property is lovely to wake up to and the owners went out of their way to be friendly and informative. The breakfast was varied each day and was always good and plentiful. We couldn't...
