This was the first time we've stayed in a B&B and it was a great experience. Dana and Dennis were very accommodating even with a last minute change in our dates. The bed was super comfortable, the breakfasts were outstanding, and the toiletries from the Lavender Farm were fantastic. We really enjoyed looking at all the furniture and decorations too....

Hello Friends! Dennis & I thoroughly enjoyed your company! The only disappointing thing was your stay was so short. We love sharing our home with guests who feel comfortable, relaxed and while here, feel at home! Thank you both for putting your trust in our home. We are waiting for your next stay!

Cross House Garden Inn is a beautiful home just off Interstate 81 south of Harrisonburg and Dennis and Dana are wonderful hosts. My husband and I stayed in the Rose room on the first floor. A spacious room with a working fireplace (we didn't use it on that warm September night, but isn't it nice to know we could someday!)...

Wow....thank you so much for your kind words! Dennis and I want to thank YOU for bringing laughter and friendship to our home. Our conversations were uplifting and couldn't have arrived at a better time. We look forward to sharing our home with you again in the near future. Bring some friends and it could turn into a "party" time...

We did not learn when our granddaughter was graduating, so we were late trying to find a place to stay. We found Cross House Garden Inn on the internet and called about reservations. There were none available, but we were put on a waiting list. About two weeks before graduation we received a call that a room was available. It...

Thank you for those kind words. Just let me say that it's guests such as yourself that bless our home. Meeting new friends and sharing bits of our lives is what keeps our B&B your home as well as ours. God Bless and hope to see you for a return visit! Dana & Dennis

My husband and I enjoyed this Victorian style B&B for the weekend. The inn is located in the heart of the little town of Weyers Cave but the lush gardens and trees give the inn a sense of privacy. The owners, Dana and Dennis, quickly make you feel welcome and at home. Our room was the Dogwood room. Nice canopy...

It was a short stay, but completely delightful, from the wonderfully, comfortable, period piece bed to the 'customized to my needs' breakfast. Dana and Dennis are warm, welcoming hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the local area. A bonus is that the inn is only a short distance to the Lavender Farm and close, but not too close, to...

Delightful Victorian home in a quiet scenic corner of the Shenandoah Valley with warm and personable owners. Our room was clean, quiet and nicely decorated, with a high comfy bed. Breakfast was hot and different each day, and we enjoyed sitting and chatting with the owners. Close to Harrisonburg and Staunton, but set in beautiful gardens in a small town...

We would like to thank you for your very kind and descriptive review. Dennis and I, (and let's not forget---Brin & Buckley) truly enjoyed your short, but delightful visit. We appreciate you putting your confidence in selecting Cross House Garden Inn for your visit to the Valley. Our hope was for you to enjoyed OUR home as YOUR home. Because...

Super accommodating. AMAZING breakfast. Kind and caring owners. Beautiful room. I would definitely stay here again. Super close to the Lavender Farm! Clean and comforting. I loved the snacks that were provided and the tea and coffee that was always available.

Thank you so much for your review. Your review will certainly assist others when looking for a "homey" place to relax and enjoy. Reviews also show us, as the owners, areas that we could improve or areas that are making our guests feel at home. We believe our guests deserve to feel that our home is also their home as...

This was our second stay at the Cross House Garden Inn. We were there last August for our 44th anniversary and decided to return to just get away for a couple of days. The period furniture and decorations make the house a delightful experience. My wife is especially fascinated with the dolls on display. The facilities are well kept, clean,...

Thank you for such a personalized review. We have enjoy both your visits and looking forward to the next one (only wish they were longer!) We're glad the Book Fair is just down the road. This way we know you will back in town. It is our pleasure to provide a "place of rest and relaxation." But most of all,...

In the middle of winter, we travelled to one of my favorite areas in Virginia for a short road trip to celebrate Valentine's day and our 33rd anniversary. As a gay couple, when we go to the countryside, we never know how people will welcome us. Dana and Dennis welcomed us warmly to their gorgeous B&B in a very relaxing...

Thank you so very much for your wonderful words! Your stay here at CHGI helped to brighten up the "gloomy" February weather. We enjoyed having you and hope that we will be in your thoughts when you're looking for another "Get-Away" stay here in the awesome Shenandoah Valley. Who else do you know that would like to tell family and...

The Cross House Garden Inn is ideally located between Staunton and Harrisonburg and all the attractions/activities found there. The Inn is comfortable and welcoming, with pleasant hosts and an excellent breakfast. Even in winter, it was obvious that the gardens and patio were beautiful, so a return trip in the spring is in the works.
