Stayed here with several people for a bike vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean. Owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine tasting in the early evening and homemade breakfast in the morning. Large porch with lots of seating and great views as the property sits up on a hill. Cozy library area to relax and enjoy...

We booked cabin #4 6 months ago, so we could get the best view. We were not disappointed, and it was worth the wait. The cabin has every luxury, detail, and amenity I could wish for, and several that I didn't even know I needed. There is a lovely kitchenette, well thought out, and intuitive, even down to the placement...

We were greeted by the friendly owners on a drizzly Friday afternoon, and soon after we settled in and unpacked our bags, we enjoyed a glass of wine, which is complimentary, and served between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. We actually showed up a few minutes early, and the host graciously brought out the wine and crackers and cheese anyway. Our...

I decided to try the Iris Inn as a recuperation spot after competing in a Spartan obstacle race in Wintergreen VA (about 10 miles north of the Inn). From the time you walk in the grand front entrance into a beautiful lobby/dining area you are welcomed by handshakes and smiles from the owners and the top tier staff. The room...

The Iris Inn is a small B&B outside Waynesboro, VA with an amazing combination of a great location, beautiful setting, great rooms and a staff that is obviously glad you are staying there. I was on a bicycle trip through the Northern Shenandoah Valley and we stayed at the Iris Inn. My room, the Deer Room, was on the second...

We wanted a few days in the mountains. What a perfect place. They allowed us to bring the dog. Tomorrow they will pack us a picnic lunch and we will head out to explore the Shenandoah Valley. Our cottage is huge, two levels, outdoor decks, and all the comforts of home. Off to the great room for wine at 5:30.

We stayed 8 nights and still was not ready to leave. The Iris Inn is so beautiful nestled in the mountains and so convenient to everything - good restaurants, the wineries, the blue ridge parkway and the skyline drive. We were so excited to come to the Iris Inn when we read all the reviews and we were not disappointed....

Just returned from a weekend in VA, celebrated our 5th anniversary at the Iris (cabin 6). The cabin was clean, modern, and stylish. The cabins are built into a steep hillside, so the decks are elevated to treetop level-- feels like a you are having your morning coffee (or soaking at night in the hot tub) in a treehouse! Each...

My husband and I recently spent two nights in Cabin #6 at the Iris Inn to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We found the cabin to be luxurious and well appointed. We even commented to each other that a lot of thought went into the design and that if we got rid of a lot of our "stuff" we would be...

What a Fantastic Bed and Breakfast! Just Gorgeous! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from the minute I called to make my reservation to end of our weekend. My wife and I stayed in Cabin 4 but it’s like no other “Cabin” we have stayed in. This cabin is its own private luxury apartment. No expense was spared...
