We just had an amazing weekend at the Foster Harris House with the Tour d'Epicure. We were celebrating a friend's 40th birthday and did the tour with a group of couples. The food, wine, and atmosphere were just perfect. Diane and John are so welcoming and even though the breakfasts they prepared were spectacular, they made it all seem effortless....

We stayed at the Foster Harris House for their Tour D' Epicure biking weekend. John and Diane made every part of our stay there wonderful! You don't feel like a guest there, you feel like their old friends. Incredible hospitality and attention to detail! By far the best part is John's amazing breakfasts. I could eat there everyday! We stayed...

I thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Foster Harris House. It is a great spot for those who like a classy B&B without the pretense. You are made to feel comfortable and relaxed througout the visit. I loved all the thoughtful touches - access to water and juice at all times, coffee, tea brought upstairs early for self-service before breakfast, wine...

Generally I am not a big B&B fan, but we were having dinner at the inn at little Washington and that is really the only lodging option. Homey and updated are where I will start. Friendly, clean, honestly just well done. The owner/chef is quite an accomplished chef. We were td a PBS series will be out this fall with...

The first thing I noticed when I walked in the door is the lack of pretense that you find in some bed and breakfasts. No white doilies, no cheesy art reproductions, no mantle full of ceramic ducks. What we found was a tastefully and comfortably appointed interior with interesting bits of art (Look for the Picasso!) and just enough curios...

Our stay at the Foster Harris House was absolutely lovely. We stayed in the beautiful Meadow Room which has great views of the mountains. We chatted with Diane during check-in for a while and really enjoyed her company as well as her suggestions of the area. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. We purchased their cookbook because we loved the way the...

We stayed at the Forster Harris House B&B after joining friends for dinner at the nearby Inn at LIttle Washington. We decided to invest in our meal and economize a bit on our room rather that both eating and staying at the Inn at Little Washington. We found the Foster Harris House to be a very attractive alternative in Washington...

My husband and I stayed for only one night but absolutely loved our stay; it is evident that John and Diane put much effort into creating pleasantly detailed and comfortable decor and all of their unique touches created such a wonderful B&B experience. The four course breakfast was perfectly balanced and delicious. We are so thankful for such a great...

We stayed at this lovely B&B to dine at the Inn at Litte Washington. We chose Foster Harris based on tripadvisor comments, which are pretty accurate. Our room was spacious, comfortable and well cared for. The sheets and linens are soft and good quality. Breakfast is indeed delicious and elegant. The hosts are friendly but not intrusive. Available soft drinks...

Foster Harris is such a wonderful place! John and Diane are the best. My son and I needed two bed--they had a room to suit us! What a pleasure, since so many B&Bs cater to just couples. The room was elegant, with an Italian tile bath that had my son saying, that shower was one of the top five! You...
