I have stayed here a couple of time. I see now that the farm is up for sale. This is such a unique gem, it would be a shame to not be able to go there again. Hidden Valley is gorgeous, Bath County is gorgeous and Meadow Lane sits right in the middle. Whether you like walking, birding, trout fishing,...

One of my fishing buddies chose Meadow Lane for our semiannual group trout-fishing trip. Six of us stayed in The Lodge and fished in the proprietary section of the Jackson River that comes with your stay. We were certainly pleased at the accommodations. Everyone had his own bedroom and bathroom. There is satellite TV and Wi-Fi. (Normally I eschew such...

My family and I have been coming here a couple of times per year for many years. We come to fly fish the Jackson and Cow Pasture Rivers. The property is lush and incredibly scenic. The Homestead resort is about ten minutes away with tons of activities and restaurants. Meadow Lanes 1860 House is our favorite house on the property....

I'd never been to Meadow Lane, but my friend had several times and keeps going back. You'll feel like you have full run of the property! It's peaceful, beautiful and close to the river and trails. We stayed in the Jackson cottage which has a great layout. 2 bedrooms, 1 with a queen bed and the other with 2 twin...

While I understand the owners are moving away for renting out the entire property for large gatherings like our granddaughter's recent wedding, it was really a lovely place for it. The family and the wedding party were all able to stay on the large and beautiful farm property. One large building had space for her three brothers and their families...

I came here for a quick retreat in October. Got here, welcomed and shown around the lodge. The Wifi isn't wonderful, but I guess the whole point is to disconnect, right? The place is clean, beautifully furnished, the breakfast is simple, but tasty. You can bring your own microwaveable or fresh fruits/milk/cereal too. I loved the lodge cat, Leroy- super...

I have been going to Meadow Lane for years, and my wife and I have come to think of it almost as our private getaway. We have gotten to know the river, the staff, and the different rooms in the Lodge. We've studied the black and white photographs on the walls of the Lodge; they tell the story of the...

This past weekend was my fifth spring visit to Meadow Lane. We, a group of fly fishermen from around the world, spend four days at Meadow Lane each April or May, host a charity auction for wounded vets and enjoy each other's company while doing some fly fishing on the Jackson River. I'll keep it simple: it's a collection of...

My husband and I just spent two nights at the Lodge. Unfortunately we picked a freezing cold weekend to go, but the peaceful country setting was just what we needed. We live in the city and wanted a quiet country setting. Meadow Lane Lodge was perfect. We stayed in the Loft, which is a cozy room, with a separate entrance,...

It is such a peaceful place .A great place to unwind from our stressful life and take in God's creations. We saw 4 deer bathing in the river. We also loved our soak in the historic Jefferson Pools! We also recommend Jason's Pizza and country cafe for great southern dinners and atmosphere. The homemade pies are superb at the cafe!
