We returned for a second, springtime, visit in late April. We missed the redbuds, but never mind. Pembroke Springs is lovely through all four seasons.
The breakfasts continue to be spectacular, but we had to miss the a special spring lamb dinner offered this time....More

I loved my stay there. It is so beautiful in spring, when the Redbud Trees are in bloom. Some highlights of my stay were the Japanese baths, and also the trails, and the view. It is lovely and very peaceful. I highly recommend this family...More

Perched on a hill in Virginia just east of the West Virginia border, this small family-owned inn isn't a place one just stumbles across. We were referred to it by friends and stayed over on a startlingly cold winter Sunday.

Dear Mr. Berger,
Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay and got a little taste of Japan. We hope you make it back next year!
Hello! Does anyone know if this hotel accepts well behaved pets? Any breed restrictions or weight restrictions? I will be road tripping with my 60 lb, well behaved pit mix in August, and this looks like an AMAZING place to stop for a night.

Thank you for your interest! Unfortunately we do not allow pets within the B&B. The kennel is a fenced in "dogloo" and only appropriate for dogs used to being outside and during the temperatures that are comfortable. If this works for you, there are no restrictions so long as the dog is well behaved. I am happy to recommend dog boarders that are in the area as another option.
