We stayed at the Guest House at Evermore Farm for my bachelorette party this weekend. There were 8 of us and it was a perfect size. Overall the stay was nice but there were a few things that happened. On Saturday one of my friends went to sit on the bar stool and it completely collapsed (and no, she isn't...

Our first visit to Lydia Mountain was a bit disappointing. We booked "Mountain View Hideaway" since it was secluded, pet-friendly & because we wanted one separate bedroom so the two adults could have some privacy from our two teenage boys. Although it is a great cabin, it's not a one bedroom; it's a studio. We had to rewash a few...

We just returned from our 4th visit to Lydia Mountain Cabins, and our 3rd in Mountain Paradise. I can only give Tina and her team kudos for their service, care and upkeep of these cabins. Very well appointed. Very comfortable king size bed, awesome hot tub and the pool table is a plus that we always make good use of....

My fiance and I just returned yesterday from another weekend trip to Lydia Mountain cabins. We stayed in "Mountain paradise" this time as we are trying to stay at all of the one bedroom cabins they manage. We previously stayed at "just us" and "loving in the woods". We booked mountain paradise this time because of the pool table however...

My girlfriend and I headed to Lydia Mountains for a winter weekend getaway in the mountains. We were prepared for cold weather, but not for being snowed in! Despite having to come up with replacement plans for our afternoon hike in the nearby national forest, we couldn't have been more comfortable in our cabin (hot-tubbing in the winter certainly helps)....

We stayed at Luvin by the Riverside, and had an exceptional time! We were two families with a total of four kids. The cabin is so well-decorated that my friends and I were taking photos to duplicate it at home! Spacious home, well-appointed kitchen, deck and fireplaces. The views are spectacular, and we loved watching the cows and staring at...

Stayed here in the motel section at the bottom of the mountain for work. The first day we drove up the mountain, looked around a little bit, man there is some great scenery. As for the motel room, I was happy with it. Studio apartment style. Bed fairly small and short but it worked, if ur over 5'10" u may...

If you want to hike in the park, this is a great location. If you are looking for high end accommodations...look elsewhere. Furnishings were ok, bathroom had an acrylic shower. The wood for the fireplace was so large you could not light it. But, if you spent $5, they would get you kindling. The hotspot they advertise for $20 a...

Lydia's Cabins is one of those vacation places one must try even once to get away from the city's hustle and bustle. Situated in the mountainside, you are able to choose the type of cabin depending on size of group and availability. The cabin is extremely comfortable and furnished from linens to kitchen appliances. It simply is a truly excellent...

Loved it so much last year we booked it again! Spent 4 nights this time to expand our wine tasting potential. This little one room cabin is a gem! I'm not going to lie and say the roads are any less scary at points, but we love coming home in the late afternoon (read: before it gets dark!) opening a...
