My wife and I were given a cabin getaway as a gift a few years ago. It was the first time we had been to Lydia Mountain Cabins. It was such a great experience that we now go at least once a year! The cabins are cozy, clean, and fairly easy to get to. Each cabin has all of the...

Stayed at the Granny B's cabin. Two bed rooms and a jacuzzi. The cabin was immaculately clean. Equipped with pots, pans, dishes, utensils and even a doggie sheet for the furniture. Plenty of firewood for two night stay, very convenient. Unfortunately the damper in the fireplace was stuck, no worries, the fire pit out back was a great alternative for...

My niece booked the pavilion here for her wedding and it was perfect. And this is from the snobby old Aunt who said, 'A Pavilion?' 'Cabins?' Well I will relish the crow. Cabins are fabulous and so much more beautiful and spacious than the pics imply. The Pavilion for the wedding was absolutely beautiful with all the exposed wood and...

We visited a few years back. Cabin was amazing. Very clean. Had everything we needed. The only complaint I had was the steep dirt driveway. Thankfully it wasnt raining. Hot tub and privacy was added bonus. Better than a hotel.

Getting from Washington to a log cabin on the side of a mountain in Virginia was a gradual easing from crazy, busy, city stuff to middle-of-nowhere stuff. The traffic jams in town turned into a congested freeway which gradually eased up, and then we were on the Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park, where for 65 miles the speed limit...

This cabin was disappointing and not worth the price paid for two nights stay. The porch light was burned out which made it very difficult to walk up the narrow path in the dark. The light over the dining table was out. The wall air conditioner was noisy and did not cool the bedroom. No television service. Small bathroom and...

We stayed in cabin #10...the setting was wonderful and the cabin was large enough for our group of 6 adults. Plenty of dishes, pans, etc. to cook meals. Large kitchen table that easily accommodated all of us comfortable...although there needs to be a light above the table as it is very, very dim. The rocking chairs on the front porch...

I have stayed at two different log cabins on girls trips for two years in a row. We stayed in Southern Comfort and Dancing Bear. These cabins are immaculate and have everything you can think of. I have not a single complaint about either one of my stays. Kitchens were fully stocked and hot tubs were awesome. Definitely going to...

We stayed in cabin 1-Fantasy Hideaway. As other reviews have said inside was nice and clean but the outside could use a good clean up. There are plenty of dishes, pans, etc. and the appliances are all in good working order. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of good water. The hot tub takes up 1/3 of the deck...

Wow! What a fabulous and relaxing time we had! Cabin was more like a home than a rental, as it had everything we needed to spend several days. Hubby and kids loved the hot tub and pool table. The view off the decks was nice but the trees and brush are a little overgrown. 3 bears is close enough to...
