This is a perfect quiet place to chill out; Glennis and Yogi are excellent hosts and help to make your stay memorable. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped and have balconies overlooking the bay. Glennis cooks dinner on several nights which is served on a communal dining table - a great way to meet fellow guests and to exchange... More

Spent three wonderful days in this special place. It is the home of Glennis and Yogi and they invite you to make it yours. A true sanctuary after the noise of the city. Glennis provides a wonderful breakfast and delicious dinner assisted by Yogi who also provided a much needed Miri Miri massage . The area is beautiful and boat... More

Glennis and Yogi were wonderful hosts in what proved to be a truly boutique sanctuary. Located high above the bay, you are made to feel very much at home and, try as hard she does, Glennis tries to suggest where you can eat at night . Don't listen to her, eat at home with Glennis. She is a wonderful chef... More

We had the last 3 days of our NZ holiday here. A perfect place to get completely calm before returning home. Glennis and Yogi are delightful hosts, knowing when to join in and when to leave us in peace. They do a really good dinner if you ask. The Sanctuary has a simply stunning view of the inner part of... Glennis and Yogi are knowledgeable, charming and generous hosts, finely tuned to their guests' every comfort. Glennis is a brilliant cook, we had dinner there on two nights out of the three we were there and both were sophisticated, fresh, local and delicious. Our room was beautifully appointed, very comfortable bed, top quality linens, and we loved the heated floors... More

Locatin views and the people running this very small complex. Can only say that we travelled Australia and New Zealand North and South and this was our last stop and what a stop it was. Great shame we were only there for 2 nights. Much cheaper deal if you book through Trip Advisor

This is a lovely, relaxing, boutique B&B nestled in forest above a beautiful bay close to Opua, Russell and Paihia. Yogi and Glennis are terrific hosts offering great suggestions, breakfast and a wonderful dinner on request. The modern rooms are comfortable with great decks for viewing the bay. There is a small pool to take a cool dip... There is... More
