I spent three nights in cottage 4 and loved it. I visited Paihia and Russell and was very glad I'd based myself in Kerikeri. Wonderful place with many places to visit nearby. The sunlit deck was fantastic and the gardens (including the herbs) were a bonus. The hosts were very helpful and obliging. I'll be back!

A very comfortable cottage nestled in spectacular gardens. Each cottage is separated by the forest giving you a sense of complete isolation and privacy. The host could not be more helpful giving advise on the area and what to do. Within walking distance to the Stone House and tracks along the river gives a number of options for taking walks....

Couldn't recommend this place more. Lovely owners, lush spot in the forest but so close to everything and a gourmet cafe right on the grounds. We sat in bed with the each slider open and the birds get popped on the deck and wandered around. Stunning

Suffice to say that we didn't want to leave! Having had a 36 hour journey to get there we were weary and this place was perfect! Had three nights here and could have done with a week. The restaurant was excellent as well which was a bonus. Tanya couldn't have been more helpful with suggestions about places to go. Would...

The individual cottages are accessed via garden paths which meander through mature tropical trees and plantings which give an almost 'jungle' experience. The garden is superb with a huge range of palms from around the world intermingled with other tropical trees and flowers. Garden tours are available. The on-site restaurant (also set in the 'jungle garden') serves great food. A...

We stayed here for 1 night Saturday 1st November. It has the most amazing tropical gardens and the bungalows are scattered amongst the garden. The deck opens to the most amazing sites of birds, a very friendly hen that just sits on the deck and keeps you company while you soak up the peace and quiet. Units are simple but...

Stayed 4 nights whilst exploring Kerikeri and surrounds. The cottage was well presented and very comfortable. We were welcomed on our deck each morning by the old hen who took great interest in all our activities. Each cottage are within view of each other but you don't feel overlooked in any way due to the wonderful planting of the tropical...

Lovely comfortable hideaway eco-cottage -- isolated in a peaceful garden with trees and herbs and birds on your doorstep (literally with the hens). But actually only 2 mins drive (or 15 mins walk) into the centre of Kerikeri. Makes an ideal base for touring around -- delightful restful sanctuary to return to. All facilities, totally recommended!

I've booked the cottage by phone and everything went smoothly. Tania was very helpful and welcoming. When we arrived, we were amazed by this beautiful place. There is a lot of things to do in the Bay of Islands and Northland, but it is worthwile considering just enjoying the garden and exhaling on the terrace listnening to the birds for...
