we had dirty plates a frying pan covered in fat, we had no tea towel or hand towel and bath mat. we had to pay for Wi-Fi. when we arrived the room was not cleaned properly. when we advised owners all they said it was a new cleaner and offered $10 internet.it was disappointing. the lighting in the room was...

This was pretty expensive considering what you get. It's clean but loos didn't flush well, you have to pay for WiFi, no sky TV and you get charged $35 if you don't do dishes! Not what you expect when you pay for a motel.

Stayed two days in the campground section. Clearly little to no effort has been made to improve facilities for many years. Kitchen area and eating areas are particularly unattractive. Outdoor dining area, overgrown and dismal even in mid-summer. The roofing in the covered outdoor are is in dire need of replacing. Hygiene issues. Large kitchen waste food bins are stored in...

We had family over from the UK and took them touring New Zealand. My wife booked accomodation in advance for all our one night stays in various places. This was the only place that took out the money as soon as we booked. We arrived 18/12017 and looked at the chalet, we did not take our cases out of the...

Booked last minute. Cheap and cheerful. Room Facilities had seen better days, bunk beds were comfortable, beds roller wheels were broken on our room which brought out the humorous side of our stay. The reception and service was good and very helpful. Overall Clean and functional is all that we wanted and got from our stay here.

the facilities were clean, but very old, and it was a short walk to town. however i checked on the noise policy, and the people at the office said noise was not there responsibility, and that should have rung alarm bells. 1 group of campers were loud, drunk and smoking drugs into the early hours of the morning, keeping everyone...

I lived here 4 months in 2007, I´m suspect to tell about here, because I love this place so much!! Lovely people, nice view. Have a river behind the backpakers. The rooms, toilets and kitchen are clean everyday. I reccomend.

the site is on a hill so the pitches are on different levels, they were ok, but the toilets and the kitchen desperately need a make over, until then we will avoid this site, its not far out of town but up a steep hill

Very nice park in a lovely setting with easy walking distance to the town centre. Shops and gas nearby. Caters for backpackers, tents ad motorhomes with powered sites. Plenty of room between vehicles and flat hard standing powered sites. Site has excellent shower/toilet facilities, laundry and large games/TV room. Can buy wifi. Great base for visiting local area.
