Our visit was a 50th wedding anniversary present from family, and was just beautiful! We loved the homestead-style house and suite, good to see an older, historic home so lovingly restored, and sympathetically improved. Sharon and Adrian are delightful hosts.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage - a genuine slice of NZ. The place is cute and small but definitely big enough for two. All the creature comforts you could hope for and the host has gone the extra mile to make sure you are well looked after. The view is spectacular and looks onto the historic...

We went to Lyness for our honeymoon and had a lovely time. The suite was really comfortable and looked great. It was a pleasure to come back to at the end of the day. Being in the suite was fun and very unlike a motel where all you want to do is leave to go do things! The garden outside...

This was our first ever experience of B and B in New Zealand and we couldn't have chosen better. Sharon and Adrian are warm and welcoming hosts and a mine of information about how to get the most out a visit to the Northland. We stayed in the cottage which is a delightfully secluded chalet with a stunning view across...

The Lyness is the best place to stay when you're seeking full relaxation. It is vey calm, the Suite has a breathtaking view on the Pa valley and the very well taken care of garden. Sharon is an amazing host. She's gonna do all her best to make you feel welcome and comfortable. She was also very helpful with things...

My partner and I do a lot of weekends away. We have stayed in both the suite and cottage on a number of different occasions. It is by far the best accommodation of its kind in Northland, probably New Zealand. Sharon is the most lovely hostess. The grounds and house are immaculate. There are wonderful touches, chocolates, soaps from Living...

We found Lyness Cottage 7 years ago and have been back to both the cottage and the suite every year since. Sharon and Adrian are the ideal hosts, they are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The accomodation compares favourably to other accomodation costing twice as much, it is clean and beautifully appointed...

We planned n spending two nights with Sharon and Adrian, but extended to four, because we just couldn't leave. Amazing view, setting, on many acres of farm land in Kerikeri, a cute small town that gets little attention in guidebooks. We can't wait t come back again next year.

We stayed here for 3 nights to visit the Bay of Islands. If you fly in and want a car, I suggest you rent it ahead of time, after we arrived there was nothing available so we had to walk to and from town which will take a while, and it can get pretty hot during the day. We originally...

Although it is unfortunate that the above guests had to wait to check in after a 9:25 am flight arrival into Kerikeri, we do need to adhere to industry standard check in/out times of 2:00 PM and 10:00 AM during our busy season in order to clean the rooms for the next guests. We most often have back to back...

We stayed at Lyness Suite for 2 nites on 6 and 7 Feb 2011 and it was the best suite of our stay. The suite is roomy with nice and romantic touches, cozy verandah and top it all, gracious hosts in Sharon and Adrian - Many thanks for showing us the "motherly" concern and pointing us the route we should...
