We stayed there for 2 nights over the weekend of the Taste wine festival. The owners Megan and Malcom made us very welcome along with their other house guests. The property is in a quiet part of the township but only about 10 mins walk from the centre. Our room was very comfortable and suited our needs. The breakfasts were... More

Highly recommended. Meaghan and Malcolm were excellent hosts, a gorgeous house and peaceful surrounds, plus a delicious breakfast. Comfortable bed! Nothing was too much trouble. Walking distance to town. Recommended winery's and restaurants for us. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay. 5 stars.

We spent one night in The Old Manse in Martinborough en route to Wellington. This is an old house that used to be a church parsonage. It has been renovated and remodeled to become an extremely nice Bed & Breakfast inn. Run by Megan and Malcolm, we were warmly greeted and immediately offered a glass of NZ wine. The wine... More

We got a cancellation room here at the last minute and were so delighted with our stay. Our hosts were lovely, providing canapes and pre-dinner drinks before we went out for dinner. Our room was delightful, full of original features (as was the rest of the building). The breakfast (included in the price) was a delicious cooked breakfast, taken at... More

Stayed with Megan and Mal for three nights, cannot say how fantastic this place is. Just felt like you're at home. First night we were the only guests. The living area, open fire and homely ambiance, perfect. Next night there were four guests arriving from Wellington who had taken the option of the in house dining and we were offered... More

I didn't expect this place to be nice because of the photos but it was great!. Staff here are really friendly and also very helpful as well ,unlike the other hotels who just doesn't care after you pay for your room. You get to see vineyard just outside the backyard and it feels like you are at the 5 star... More

M&M are marvellous hosts. This was a top class experience in every way. Breakfast was deliciously made with local ingredients, room was comfortable and warm, the building is well appointed with strong water pressure and quick hot water. The owners are very friendly and made sure we had a good time. Not enough words for how great this experience was.
