Stayed at Yering Gorge Cottages over the weekend and had a fantastic time. The cottage was warm, cost and right near the Yarra River, and had a lovely view of the mountains. Breakfast amenities, newspaper and use of a golf cart were all included. Brett was very helpful and friendly and made some great recommendations for places to eat and...

Checked in to the cottages after a luncheon function at the golf clubhouse. Appreciated the warm room and the bottle of chardonnay. Had time for a stroll don to the yarra river to the gorge. Discovered a beautiful clearing at a bend on the river. Earmarked it for a picnic in better weather. Got some great photos of an albino...

The Cottages were just perfect for our weekend escape. Set at the back of the Eastern Golf Club, the Cottages are quiet and private. Being the middle of winter, the fireplace was perfect and the heated tiles in the bathroom are amazing! They are generous in size and we could not fault them or recommend them highly enough. We look...

Hi EmmaHeinz We appreciate you reviewing your stay and “highly” recommending Yering Gorge Cottages by The Eastern Golf Club. Our close to 40 acre cottage precinct is definitely a “quiet and private” space and yes our wood heaters ensure our cottages are nice and cosy during the chilly winter months. Many thanks for the review and we look forward to...

We stayed three nights at Yering Gorge Cottages, based at the Eastern golf club in the Yarra Valley. Arriving to a modern clubhouse we met the lovely ladies at reception who booked us in, provided the details of the two tours they had booked for us, then escorted us out to our cottage. The cottages are well separated from the...

Hi Rob D Thank you for your review. Being located on its own secluded 40 acre natural bush precinct with approximately 3.5kms of Yarra River frontage and adjacent to 110 acres of nature reserve our cottage area is indeed a “serene and restful” space. Our stacked for arrival wood heaters and complimentary supply of fire wood is very popular through...

Hi TalentMan Thanks for the review and we agree winter is a terrific time of year to stay, the wood heaters and reverse cycle air conditioning ensure our guests are always warm and cosy. The hundreds of kangaroos and many native birds around the property are always a huge hit with guests as well. Thanks again.

Thank you for our incredible stay at your cottages. We stayed in 'Waterfall' and the whole experience was amazing. Hi kristyjrussell Many thanks for the fantastic review. “Picturesque” is a great word to describe our 40 acre cottage precinct. The 3.5kms of Yarra River that winds through the property enhances the site and ensures we have more than our fair share of native wildlife and birds on the property.
