We stayed in Seymour Cottage for two nights in September '15 we could not have picked a better weekend as the weather was glorious. The cottages are a great to get away from it all but very handy for Penneshaw. There is a great cellar door (serve food) at Dudley Wines (10/ 15 minute drive) and the breakfast at Zest...

Seymour Cottage is part of the 3 cottages located at the front of Cape Willoughby Lighthouse. The other 2 cottages are Thomas and one used as the Information Centre. Call early for the code to open the safebox to retrieve the key to the cottage. Very important as there is no or limited network there. Great place for family bonding...

We love staying at Cape Willoughby lighthouse with its beautiful, quiet location and the light flashing above us throughout the night. The property is in great condition and you get a real feel for the history of the place. Will be back again!

We stayed at Cape Willoughby Lighthousekeepers cottage as part of a rather rushed visit to Kangaroo Is. It made an excellent last night's stay before catching the ferry back to the mainland in the morning. We all wished that we could have stayed longer. Seymour Cottage is charming and very comfortable. The position is outstanding. I would strongly recommend it.

We spent two nights in Seymour Cottage at Cape Willoughby which is the cottage on the right. The road to the cape is part of the adventure, but make sure you have the food and drinks well supplied as there are no shops nearby. The cottage is large, two queen bedrooms along with two or three single beds. There is...

We had a large group and booked both the cottages and I must say entire group was extremely pleased with the experience. The best part of the stay were the sunrises. Never experienced such a beautiful sunrise and must have ended up clicking 300 pics of the sunrise and the wild life surrounding the cottages and lighthouse gives it a...

i was immediately attracted to this place - not sure why. solo traveller, visiting Adelaide and decided to go to KI and stay at Willoughby. after all that driving, the road to Willoughby was mostly remote, dirt roads! Apprehension set in. ploughed on, got to the site and was welcomed by roos... or wallabies, not sure. loved it! the place...

this is a little peace of heaven ... we tried to change our intinerary so we could go back whilst we were on the island, but sadly couldn't. We stayed in the Seymour Cottage, the accommodation is clean, comfortable & relaxing. No TV, no radio, but really you don't need to be inside, there is so much to see. It...

Our family of 5 spent two nights here over the new year period. We were in awe of the rather spectacular view and were lucky enough to be here on two very still and sunny days. The accommodation was very sturdy and happily accommodated our three young boys. We loved the lighthouse décor and the historical touches! After the day...

Our first night on KI was at Seymour Cottage; highly recommend it! The view is stunning; even our young teens were floored by the sight of the lighthouse and sea as we crested the hill driving in for the first time. The location is simply magnificent. We arrived on a late afternoon ferry, so brought over provisions for simple meals...

“Check road conditions before traveling. I had read many reviews saying that KI was easy without a 4-wheel drive, but we had a minivan and the recent storms made several of the unsealed roads tough. Locals were always helpful in sharing information.”
