We regretted only booking for one night at this beautiful spot. The cottage is spacious and well appointed with everything you need (except byo food and drinks). Lots of beds make it a great place to stay with friends or family. Hard to beat walking out the door to great cliff walks and awesome views.

I cannot recommend this place more. We only wish we had booked more nights. Time stops and you can put you feet up relax and enjoy good family time. Plenty on room and facilities to allow a comfortable stay

I can't imagine living here in the olden days. But the views are beautiful, despite the blustery conditions; I'm glad we made the effort to visit this lighthouse with so much history. Cute little cafe next door. Very friendly lighthouse staff, passionate about their job and know their stuff. Thank you.

Don't expect tv, radio, air conditioning, modern kitchen or room service but expect some of the best views on the island, expect a peaceful stay in a warm old 1920's house with mountains of history and heritage. Sit on the verandah and watch the sun go down and the animals come out to feed on the grass. There is a...

We stayed here just after Christmas. It's a truly unique location with stunning coastline & wildlife set to the backdrop of the towering Cape Willoughby Lighthouse. Two out of three cottages are accomodation with the third now used as a visitors centre. There's plenty of bedrooms which make it great for families or friends, along with a fully equiped kitchen...

During our recent KI trip, we had the pleasure of staying at all the 3 lighthouse keepers heritage accommodation (Cape Borda, Cape du Couedic and Cape Willoughby). All 3 were excellent, but this one at Cape Willoughby was definitely the best! The cottage and its grounds are so spacious. There are so many rooms (5 in total). The kitchen, living...

We loved our stay at Seymour Cottage. It is such a beautifully lonely and wild spot. The sunset was amazing and the sunrise the next morning was even better. And there's nothing more fun than pretending to be a lighthouse keeper for the night. Do the tour of the light (great views), do the walk down to the old landing...

Our party of 6 people stayed in Seymour Cottage for 2 nights recently and with 5 bedrooms the sleeping arrangements were sorted. The views from the front verandah & even the kitchen window are stunning. We sat with glass of wine in hand watching a cruise ship sail the Backstairs passage. Having seen KI from Deep Creek many times it...

A photographers and Artist Dream. To add to the view is the wildlife with Kangaroos , possums and heaps of birds. Definitely a place...

Unique stay in a real lighthouse keepers cottage. Great views to the north and south from the front verandah. Easy to pretend to be the keeper looking out from the kitchen window and back door to check the light at night!

“Check road conditions before traveling. I had read many reviews saying that KI was easy without a 4-wheel drive, but we had a minivan and the recent storms made several of the unsealed roads tough. Locals were always helpful in sharing information.”
