We stayed here last year so had no issue with booking again. Checkin was quick and the man at the front desk was polite. Plenty of parking. However the state of the accommodation has definitely gone down hill since we last stayed. The hallways and room stunk of stale cigarette smoke that drifts in from the outdoor smoking area. Despite... More

This is a basic hotel, maybe 2.5 - 3 stars, definitely not the 3 - 4 the hotel claims. You do get what you pay for though and what we paid and what we received was acceptable for 2.5 - 3 stars in my mind. We booked a family room and it was spacious but dated. The beds were very... More

Arrived at Penrith Valley Inn on the Saturday at 11.15am and as our room wasn't ready we went to Penrith Plaza for a look around and have lunch. Arrived back at 2pm and we were allowed to check-in and accessed our room. On Check-in I wasn't allowed a Golden Chain discount or any other (govt employee), as I booked on-line.... More

Booked for 2 adults and a 12 yr old. We had 1 room for 3 of us for 9 days. Their description is "budget" and it is. They also say 4 star, but not in this world. Wifi is not free, that is false advertising. The pool was green and we were told the pump had broken down, but it... More

Only stayed the one night for a function close by. Parking was easy and reception quite pleasant. The room had had some refurb in the bathroom but still showed its age in other areas like the bedspreads and thin blanket. The bed was comfy enough and I guess this place offers value for money in this part of the city.

I decided to give it a go despite what i read: foolish me. From the rude reception, be ready to catch the pen being flung at you, to no explanations about how to turn the power on, to the non smoking room where previous occupants had chain smoked and the room has not been cleaned after this (this became really... This establishment is probably one of the worst I've ever had the misfortune to stay in. No lifts, very minimal cleaning and housekeeping, and substandard room facilities. The deal breaker was the black mould all around the bathroom vanity, and the hairs on the bathroom floor. We did inform the manager of the bathroom and asked it to be cleaned... More

Our room was passable for our requirements. We had a cooked breakfast the first morning before we got supplies for ourselves. Scrambled eggs on toast was delivered to our room on time, hot and well cooked. We had a blocked hand basin in the bathroom which was fixed quickly. The walls are not soundproof so we could hear the person... More

Average very basic place overdue for a makeover. Towels hard and rough like sandpaper. Restaurant is upstairs with no lift. Restaurant food average. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Fairly quiet location but noise from staff in talking the lenght of hallways

This is not a 5 star Motel but the room we had was very clean, bed comfortable with clean sheets, linen and towels. Breakfast was good and we had a sumptuous steak dinner at the restaurant. Definitely be back.
