Last weekend was my family's 3rd year staying at Whitcomb Summit Retreat. Clean spacious rooms, and great mountain views are just part of the reason we keep returning. Jim Pedro, the manager, makes you feel welcome and comfortable while remaining professional. We enjoyed our morning coffee and bagels (provided by Jim) on the sprawling porch while enjoying the magnificent scenery. My...

This is a clean, friendly, simple hotel with beautiful views of the Berkshires. You can sit on the porch outside your room and enjoy the fresh air and view of the mountains and elk statue. The owner has been renovating it. My husband and I chatted with him as well as the manager Jim. Jim goes out of his way...

We stayed here during our trip along the Mohawk Trail. The room was very clean and exterior was maintained. It was a warm night and room didn't have a/c which would of been nice. Management was extremely kind and helpful with area information.

The Whitcomb isn't fancy, upscale, etc. so look elsewhere if that's what you like or are accustomed to. No pool, restaurant, and there isn't any AC even (but at 2,000 feet in the Berkshires, I'm not sure it's needed). The host was great and gave us great advice and tried to make sure everything was fine. We had a great...

In addition to having beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained rooms, the hotel also comes with a great view of the Berkshires affording wonderful views of sunrise. In spite of being located on Route 2 and very close to North Adams and Williamstown, the location is quiet and peaceful. It's an ideal location for going to Mass MOCA, the Clark Museum,...

This property with its majestic setting is in the hands of gracious hosts who are carefully restoring and developing it into a masterpiece. We spent three midweek nights here in early August. All the rooms have been restored and provide meticulous accommodations. Every room has glorious view. There is a peaceful sense of privacy, but not isolation. The host and...

This as the perfect place to stay in Florida, MA. Located on the Mohawk Trail, this motel has amazing views! The rooms have been renovated, updated and are immaculate. The new beds and bedding are beautiful and very comfortable. However, this is not just any motel. What sets this motel apart from others is the manager Jim. He is extremely...

What a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were extremely nice and comfortable. The manager, Jim, was as helpful and accommodating as an innkeeper could be. The hotel is located overlooking a beautiful vista worth the cost of the room alone. I would recommend Whitcomb Summit to anyone visiting the area. It is convenient to the North Adamstown/Williamstown area as...

This past weekend my NASC/MCLA college friends and I bought out the hotel for a reunion weekend. This is the perfect place for us because it is close to North Adams yet far enough from civilization so that we could be as loud as we wanted without disturbing anyone. While this is not a full service hotel, and does not...

Wow, what a beautiful motel right on the Mohawk trail both inside and out! We stayed here with two teenage children and two adults this past weekend while in the area for some river rafting and zip lining. What a very pleasant surprise! The rooms were adorable, the beds were very comphy and the bed linens, pillows and comforter were...
