For a last minute overnight trip to Culebra, very few hotels/B&Bs were available, and the few that were wanted $200+ a night. Luckily, Hotel Kokomo had availability. Despite the miserable reviews, I booked the "penthouse suite" on the top floor. The back bedroom had AC and a OK bed. The music from the bar next door can get loud, so...

This is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in...I'm 51 and have lived in several countries, the desk clerk was physically filthy and drunk, the owners live somewhere else... this place is not just a blyth on Culebra, it is also a dismal example of how badly an accommodation can be when the owners clearly don't care about...

I've read a lot of bad reviews, and I have to say - everything that was bad in the reviews were a load of crap. The music from the bar - not that loud - and if your not in the bar until it closes... your doing something wrong anyways - bar was great. Mattresses had nothing wrong with them...

I traveled with my boyfriend and we knew we would only be spending our nights in a hotel and our days at flamenco or whichever beach we wanted to visit that day. So we picked the cheapest place we could find. Pros: cheap right next to the ferry. literally across the street all the taxis line up in front of...

We booked one of the suites, it was very comfortable we accommodated 4 adults and 2 kids and had extra space. location is great, close to pretty much everything. If you are looking for a place to just sleep this is what you need. Don't expect luxury.

The room we got was on the top floor and had a full kitchen and nice sized family room. The smaller bedroom was only used for storage, as it was too hot to sleep in. The back bedroom had an air conditioner that made it bearable. It is the Caribbean after all, so we knew there would be heat. But...

This is probably the cheapest place in the island to stay at but it's not worth it. I would suggest to anyone looking for a place, that you spend a little bit more and get a better room somewhere else. First, the hotel is located on top of a bar. So there was a lot of noise and music playing...

I read the reviews and prepared myself for the worst. The location is very convenient as we were getting off the ferry very late. We booked the "penthouse suite" which was on the top floor with a balcony overlooking the water (the view was top notch, the noise--not so much). They did let us check-out an hour later because we...

We stayed at Kokomo hotel for two nights; we stayed at the room #4. I think our overall experience was good. When we arrived at 10:30 am they allow us to do an early check in which was great so we could leave our luggage and start exploring the island. The location is good to have easy access to restaurant,...

This is the best place is you want to pay for your whole stay the same price that you would pay for one night in another place at Culebra. Hotel Kokomo is very clean under the circumstances and private. We stay for a weekend and the room was very comfortable. The downside is the bathroom, we know what we were...
