My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Island View Hospitality Home. The weather was awful so we decided on some take home food. The room was spotless and spacious and warm. The shower was fantastic and the bed comfortable. But the breakfast was the best. I wish I could get some more of those sticky buns.

Patricia was a wonderful hostess who made amazing sticky buns! The atmosphere was very relaxed and enjoyable, having a cup of tea in the gazebo was just perfect :) We stayed in room 2 and it was just right for us. It had a double bed and attached bathroom with stand up shower. If you need something accessible I would...

As others have said, Patricia is a charming host, with personality plus, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. She has a great collection of antiques and memorabilia and guests are encouraged to view them. Our room was very clean and our bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, etc. She serves homemade muffins and cinnamon buns all the time, but my favourite...

Pat is a great hostess, a very interesting lady & her house reflects this. It is full of historical displays of significance that are very interesting. She makes you feel at home, comfortable and relaxed. The bed was comfortable enough, the room was spotless. As others have said, the breakfasts and sticky buns are great. To heck with the diet,...

Pat Devine is a goldmine of Newfoundland history and a wonderfully welcoming hostess. Her house is full of fascinating and quirky bric-a-brac, and she will regale you with her account of Newfoundland ways (plus she has a marvelous sense of humour). The cost is quite reasonable; although there is no air conditioning, she will provide earplugs to keep out the...

We stayed with pat at this B&B for one night and when we tried to book back in later she was booked solid - no wonder!! We had the handicapped room at the back with separate entrance and private bath. The room was so spacious and clean and comfortable. We were given home made cinnamon buns when we first arrived...

Pat the host is a book of information for the area and her antique collection which vary to all interests. Older house renovated and added onto. Rooms smaller but comfortable and you have access to the living room kitchen and dining room as well as outside facilities if good weather. Showers may be a little short but usable for taller...

Patricia is an amazing hostess! She greets her guests with a warm welcome with delicious home baked cookies and her famous "sticky buns"! The room we stayed at was good size for 2 with a comfy queen size bed. A few restaurants in town but if you want to just have a salad or soup for the evening (after days...
