Stayed as part of coach party so evening meal not from main menu, but were 3 choices for each course and food was ok. Waiting staff were friendly & efficient, as were reception staff. Drinks with evening meal were reasonably priced. We had room 54 which was huge, with view across lake. Twin beds were comfortable, bathroom clean with everything...

We stayed here for my mums 60th birthday party and attended the 70's night. We had an absolutely fantastic time, staff very helpful and attentive. Food was ok, beef was like school dinner beef but overall a fab night.

We stayed in this hotel as part of a diamond holidays coach trip to Ascot ( so it was not booked by us) the hotel is very very dated the best way to describe it is a 1970's feel! That said the bedroom was big enough for the 3 girls who shared it & it was clean as was the...

We went on a coach package so had a fixed dinner menu so I can't comment on the food other than to say the roast dinner and cooked breakfast provided was very nice and good service. Bar prices are very reasonable and our room was superb with a delightful view of the lake, and patio doors so we could sit...

The bride lived in Gravesend and we checked into this hotel as we thought we would be in the way the morning of the wedding. We had a lake view room. Stayed here recently for 2 nights we were welcomed by big yellow stains on our pillows crumbs and general dirt on the floor 3 large black holes in the bath which scratched you every time you sat in it. Thick dust throughout the room and old faded bedding the room was consistently boiling hot despite our best efforts opening windows...

Dear Ben, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to read of your comments regarding your stay. I am sorry to read that there was a miscommunication regarding your do not disturb sign. I can assure you that the housekeeping team would not have 'been too lazy' and deliberately changed the sign. Perhaps someone knocked the signed off and...

I am sure this was once a really nice Hotel. They seem pretty busy and the girl on the desk was adorable. But please spend some money and up date the place. I was showed the bridal suite and 'divorce' come to mind. Why show pictures of rooms which in fact are nothing like what you are actually going to...

We used to live locally and in those days this was a place to go for a really special night out. It appears to have mutated into a cheap cabaret venue and the noise on arrival for our stay was deafening. In fairness from the room we were in this was not so bad but on arrival in reception it...

We stayed here for a wedding we were attending near by. We reserved 2 rooms prior to the stay. I requested that if possible could one room be available when we arrived at 12 - 12.30. One room was available which was fine. The room was very basic, needs updating and hardly any of the lights worked in the room,...

Stayed overnight night when on a Diamond Holidays coach trip to the Oaks & Derby at Epsom.
