We stayed in the 2 bedroom house (6). It is well equipped with everything you need and can sleep up to six as it has a sofa bed. Edam is a lovely place with a cheese shop, deli, bakery, chocolatier and much more. Would highly recommend this house for groups or families and the owners are very accommodating.
Was noisy on Sunday until midnight but was to be expected. Great Italian in town worth visiting.

Superlokatie maar de kamers zojn puur functioneel. Enige luxe zoek je er tevergeefs. Kamers zijn sober ingericht maar bieden wel het hoognodige. De bedjes zijn lang genoeg maar wel erg smal. Kitchenette was niet echt schoon. Als er livemuziek in de kroeg op de onderverdieping heb je oordopjes nodig om te slapen. We wetden hier wel van te voren over ingelicht en waren hierop voorbereid door oordopjes mee te nemen. Ontbijt is in de kroeg, basic: broodjes, kaas, ham, jam en chocopasta. Verder koffieof thee en een glas jus. Handdoeken worden niet dagelijks gewisseld. Ondanks alle minnetjes was het er wel gezellig

Lovely spacious room in a very attractive and peaceful town amongst the canals of the Netherlands. Room was well equiped and the breakfast good.

Perfetta la posizione accanto al canale e affascinante il vecchio caffè scuro adiacente. Sono mini apprtamentini con doccia e cucinotto che può essere molto utile visto la scarsa offerta di ristoranti di edam!!

Wir kamen für eine Nacht, zur Durchreise mit dem Fahrrad. Sehr gut, auf dem Hinterhof Möglichkeit zum Laden der Ebikes. Das Zimmer war über eine Wendeltreppe von außen erreichbar, es war alles sauber und ausreichend Platz. Das Bett war bequem. Am Morgen zum Frühstück ging es in den Kneipenraum. Es gab normales Kontinentalfrühstück, mit sehr leckeren Cafe. Leider sind wir am Ruhetag angereist, so dass wir nicht in den Genuss von Livemusik und Außengastronomie kamen. Um noch was Trinken zu Gehen war am Sonntag in Edam sehr schwierig- alles zu, sonst eine sehr schöne Stadt.

We waren hier op een zondag middag en konden de auto even verderop wel kwijt langs de Voorhaven. We moesten reserveren voor een concertje, alleen zitplaatsen vanwege Corona, verder geen entree geld. Het was een gezellige sfeer, redelijk goed geluid en de service was in orde qua bediening. We waren blij dat we weer konden genieten van live muziek, in dit geval Nick Dittmeier uit de VS. Wellicht komen we nog een keer terug voor een andere voorstelling.

We hadden een tussenstop met onze sloep in de haven en konden lopend de stad in en kwamen deze plek tegen en gingen hier eten. Gezellige bediening en echt top gegeten wat met verse ingrediënten gemaakt is.

Für ein langes Wochenende hatte ich vermeintlich ein Hotelzimmer für 2 Personen in Edam gebucht - wofür der Preis auch angemessen gewesen wäre. Bei der Ankunft stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass es sich eher um bed and breakfast handelt. Das Zimmer war eng und bei Wind hat alles geklappert. In drei Tagen wurde nicht einmal sauber gemacht, geschweige denn das Bett gemacht. Einzig positiv war, dass das Frühstück gut war und die Inhaber freundlich. Aber 98,50 Euro pro Nacht war das nicht wert.

And the staff is so friendly. Pure Edam experience, makes you really appreciate the North Holland small town culture. Will definitely be back!

Was een leuk hotelletje met bar en schone echter gedateerde kamers koffiepot zonder koffie slechte matrassen maar ligging was mooi aan gracht waar je ook electrobootjes kon huren Al met al goede prijs kwaliteit en lekker ontbijtje
