Stayed here one night. The hotel and restaurant were both nice. The food was very good. The room was larger than other European hotel rooms I have stayed in. The location at the marina was great. Arrived by way of the train. It is a little bit of a walk to the hotel but it is all downhill. Left by... More

I cannot believe people had 'whinges' about this hotel! It is not the proprietors' fault that it is some way from the station. It provides excellent accomodation, charming staff, a huge range of very good food, and, most especially, stunning views of lake and mountains. What more do people want!!

I have stayed in the Seegarten on many occasions. It is one of the most friendly places to visit, all of the staff are great and play for the same team. Martin and Ursula Keller manage the hotel extremely well and the owner, Manfred Beutler is often at the hotel and is the ultimate host. The views from the hotel... More

an excellent "no frills" hotel right on the Lake Thun waterfront. The standard of this hotel was superb. The room (I had a single room 208) was a good size with a most comfortable bed , settee coffee table, easy chair, mini safe, mini bar, hair dryer, radio, TV, and balcony. The owner and staff all went out of their... More

Lovely hotel on the marina with gorgeous views. Believe it is a husband and wife and their daughter who run the hotel and they were so friendly and helpful. Stayed here over Easter with some friends and were very impressed. Rooms were large and the breakfast and cleanliness of the hotel was of a very high standard. We ate in... More

We had a two night stay in the Seegarten and were very pleased with our lake/mountain view room. It is not a five star luxury hotel (it doesn't claim to be) but it is extremely clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a pleasant stay as a sight seeing base. We ate in the restaurant whilst there and were... More

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had a great room overlooking the marina and the mountains. The room was spotless with nice quality bedding and a separate shower and toilet which was very convenient. The hotel which is located at the marina is down a long hill from the train station with several turns. If you are... More

We arrived in Spietz via train, having flown from Spain and with no pre booked accomodation. We were delighted with our choice ( and luck that a room was available). The location was perfect, on Lake Thun with views to remember forever ,especially when the clouds lifted on the morning of our departure to showcase the snow covered alps. Ideal spot... More

Our hotel room was quite large and with the windows and the balcony door open there was a great cross-breeze. The room was immaculate with a good amount of storage. Breakfast is included and it was plentiful with breads, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, meats and all the condiments. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good and... More
