We loved this place. Definitely not your Hilton experience. Simple accommodations, great staff, amazing location, good food. Nice but not fancy rooms facing the Marina and lake and Alps. A very easy stroll to the ferries. Can't wait to return!
We're staying lake facing room. Very nice view and decided to extend for another night.
The breakfast though selections limited but are really nice. The owner is really friendly and chatty, enjoy chatting with him. Freshly made fruit jam that goes really well with the...More
We were traveling with a friend who had stayed here many years ago and he returned. I see why. The good: very friendly staff, clean room, the most amazing strong hot water shower I've ever had, great view with a veranda overlooking the lake. The...More
I hate to give a poor rating to any hotel that is clean and has helpful staff but they just missed the mark. Very dated furniture, pillows, and a really uncomfortable fold out couch made this an unpleasant stay. The location on the lake is...More

We do not speak German, only English. Would this be a problem? We are planning to arrive Sept. 28-Oct. 3rd and would like to rent a room with a beautiful view of both the lake and mountains. Do you have availability? Also, I am unable to do a lot of walking because of an illness. I am not disabled, but am worried that the walk up the hill to the train station would be difficult. Do you have buses or a shuttle? We would be taking short train trips 4 of the 5 days we are there. Thank you so much for any advice. Tom and Susan
