Oriented to entertain your little ones, with water slides, dance parties, magic shows, take out pizza etc. Each day there are two 2.5hr sessions of “kids club” - giving the adults just enough time to go to the beach or explore the (very cute) medieval town of Pals near by.
The excellent beach of Plaija del Raco is a 10-15 min walk (downhill, uphill back). Continue to the right along the beach path to connect several secluded beaches (clothing optional) or to walk to the next village (20 more mins on foot).
Note that the resort is incredibly packed in, very dense and full of people - mostly Dutch, a few French, Brits and folks from Spain. We were the only Americans. Pool very crowded. Appreciated all the trees, shade and the grocery store on site (pretty reasonable). They keep the resort very clean and use a wristband system to monitor entry/exit. Loud music until late every night.
Biggest drawback was the lack of functioning WiFi. Also the sports areas were in pretty sad shape (we had hoped to play tennis, but sadly the court was tiny, no net).
We stayed in a cabin, Aiguablava, which felt like an efficient IKEA showroom. AC was strong and filled the whole apartment. Lots of closet space. They provided almost nothing, you needed to buy all your paper products, soaps, dish rags etc.
I’m glad to have gone and had the experience - my kids loved it. If going without kids, would definitely choose a quieter, more relaxing place.

Response from Camping Interpals, General Manager at Interpals Eco Resort
Responded 18 Aug 2024
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad your kids enjoyed the activities and that you liked the nearby beach and the on-site store. We apologize for the issues with WiFi and the sports facilities, and we understand that the pool crowding and resort density might have been inconvenient. We appreciate your suggestions and will take them into account for improvements. We hope that, despite these details, you had a good overall experience. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

Typical campsite in Spain, very large and very crowded. Security present at the entrance because you only leave or enter by passing your bracelet on a terminal. Side location: certainly 500m from the sea but have good legs because when you go up it stings slightly. For Homair mobile homes it will be at the top of a big hill so idem...Camping PetFriendly so if you do not like dog barking at any time of the day, pass your way. On the pool side: we don’t trust you with the photos it’s nothing eggy, rescue workers are more there to make the law than anything else: it whistles at everything as soon as you play with a small ball but foreigners who eat chips and sandwiches on the deckchair so we say nothing despite it being forbidden... they are more there to make cowboys with their hats than anything else... the slide area at times, 1st news... the kids wait... Infrastructure: having taken a home I cannot comment. However the snack is open 12h / 16h30 so outside to snack c dead, 7,5 € the average tray of fries you have to plan to have fun, it is better to go eat by the beach, because you have very nice restaurants. Animations bordering on null. Children will be happy with swings and other games. Anyway, I'm not sure I'm coming back...

Right campsite. They should warn people with babies that access to the bungalows has quite a few stairs or assign a lower one. Very fair animation, little staff and resources. The pool area was very good, however as of 18.00h the guns and the bucket of water were already deactivated. Nor did we like that one day they let in groups of outside children who filled the pool in two seconds. Restaurant quality/price, not worth it, we ordered a children's burger and one of the menu (much more expensive) and literal was the same.

It was a fatal experience not to say lousy, it was a lightning holiday of 3 days that I lost half. We take a 3 bedroom bungalow and when I arrive we are given one of 2 rooms (1 double, 1 with two single) almost at the top of the campsite, we complain and are told that what we have hired being bigger both in size and price do not have in availability. We tell them that if they give us a small one they put us closer to the entrance and pools and with the return of the proportional share of more. Mos give a small bungalow and when we enter we find that it is all dirty, with rest of the previous tenants, food seasoning in cupboards, pillowcases you throw ball, the kitchen drawers all full of oil, tomato sauce, dirty bajilla and with ants, the fridge all dirty with food scraps, and the floor with chocolate pieces full of trash.... We make this known and they tell us that they can not do anything until the next day, we ask for the return and leave and we are also not facilitated, conclusion spent the 1st day of cleaning me and my husband from bungalow, no one is responsible or tell you anything, besides the tremendous lack of education and empathy on the part of those responsible.... We have made the respective complaint that we will bring to the attention of the consumer enclosing all photographs. Like we didn't get anything but if it serves our experience for others we have already won.
We will never return again.

Camping Interpals is NOT suitable or safe for children 2-3 years old. There is a constant danger of being run over. We are currently staying in a Bungalow Levante for 4 days (and we still have 3 days left). Since the day they gave us our Bungalow we have transferred the reception and security staff about 5 times and they have almost run over our two little ones several times because our accommodation has a garden that connects directly to the main road. of the campsite. Road where cars constantly pass 24/7 without complying with the maximum permitted speed of 10km/h. Our little ones accidentally go out onto the road while playing, thinking that it is still the garden. So we practically have to keep them tied up to avoid accidents. And on the other hand, the door of the bungalow cannot be closed from the inside, so if you want to take a shower, wash the dishes or make yourself a coffee and your son knows how to open the door, he can run out onto the road again. The annoying thing about this whole situation has been the lack of solutions from the staff. Since we have told them that any desire to improve so that our children were safer would help us (change of bungalow of any category, a net to put from end to end, temporary construction railing...) and they have ignored us completely. Especially two guys from the morning shift, one blonde and one dark-skinned. I attach a photo so you can see the seriousness of the matter.

Disappointment. We went last summer and we really liked it. This year has gotten worse by far. It was overcrowded. They have put many more bugalows and this has meant that there are many more people than the facilities can absorb: the pool is VERY small for so many people, in addition the water is very very dirty, you don't have a sunbed if you don't go at 10 a.m. the morning and people keep them all day leaving a towel on top. The showers often have almost no water and no hot water. The power went out twice. They have changed the restaurant and now they no longer serve low-cost food (sandwiches, mixed dishes, etc.). It is a posh restaurant with a very expensive menu and sophisticated dishes. In conclusion, we will not return because we have not been comfortable at all.

Review 2024 Last autumn 2024 another holiday period spent at the campsite.
Which now includes a number of comments on a few things: Given the unexpected and mandatory relocation of the fixed step leaks of the Catalan/Spanish guests, there was all noise, tensions and disappointment at the campsite.
The remaining lanes will now also be filled with new holiday homes. Given these changes, it will only be possible for most campers with tents, caravans and motorhomes to get a spot on the right of the campsite, too bad.
To get from the campsite you now have to go through the gates by means of wristbands, given the safety / control I understand that there must be control, but with those wristbands this has become very difficult especially for my wife who is wheelchair dependent, there will be another solution for this.
A note about the Take away: The choice for takeaway snacks has become very limited and far too expensive and as we have experienced the hamburgers were still mournful and too thick "had new ones in return" the chips tasted like raw potato and was limp and not remotely like the chips, which we are used to. Cost 2 fries and hamburgers +€17,- In our view, the staff, what was standing at the time, was not competent. If nothing changes about this situation other than the advice for the camping guests, get your snacks outside the campsite!
We left 2 days earlier, partly due to the crowds and tensions around us due to the mandatory removals of the regular Catalan/Spanish guests." This was also for us, not pleasant to experience!
**"We have not received back the overpaid 2 days."**
Given the many changes at Interpals, we are considering ourselves to look forward to another campsite after 10 years of enjoyment. Too bad!

Very friendly staff and the beach and cove very cool. The pool is fine although it stays small for the campsite it is.
As notes to improve; especially access to plots according to which large or low vehicles; as curbs or potholes of access to very uniform plots must be fixed.
We went around for several to choose one that stayed close and easy access (thank you at reception will change very friendly plot the manager). That is why I say the staff very well; and the restaurant with the paella menu for 2 tb very good value for money.
The tb animation could be improved with some painting activities prepared for quieter children....
Although generally fine!

Very small plot and smallest 3 bed mobile home we’ve ever been in. Completely lacking in any greenery or landscaping. Lots of hills and steps and dust. Staff at reception were unfriendly and barely acknowledged you as you waited at reception for them to answer a question. Pool area very small for the size of the campsite. Supermarket next door is overpriced and stocks little in the way of fresh produce. Best thing about this site is the nearby beach, about 10 mins walk. Nice coastal walk along the back of the beach too.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your stay. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the nearby beach and the coastal walk. However, we’re sorry to learn that your experience with the plot size, staff, and facilities did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your comments regarding the reception and will work on improving our service. We're also actively looking to enhance our landscaping and pool area for a better overall experience. Your input is invaluable, and we hope to welcome you back in the future for an improved visit!

I am a regular traveler to Pals and Camping Interpals, and can not praise this place enough, it is one of the nicest, best located, and real value campsites I have stayed. The site is very clean, modern, and has everything I needed to feel at home. Camping Interpals is an easy walk to the beach and amenities you would need. Also close to a big supermarket which was handy, and few steps to dozens of restaurants and cafes. Interpals staff are fantastic, friendly and very welcoming, and communication is great too. I would highly recommend this wonderful place, a must for solo travellers, couples and family's.
