Heating on in-room... 29C (84F). No way to cool it. Very very small room. Very uncomfortable. Steep stairs to 2nd-floor check-in. Noisy Not too secure Dirty walls, last guest phlegm on walls Disgusting and rude management
This hotel was spotlessly clean and a very pleasant stay. Not in season but provided bed and breakfast, which was really nice. Manager could not have done more to be helpful, so much so I would choose this hotel over any on return. Lovely little place which I am certain will be even lovelier in Summer. Thank u.
Myself and my husband stayed here for 5 nights. The location was perfect, near to the beach, bakeries lovely restaurants. We had a nice view of the beach from our balcony. Breakfast was really good. The pool was always quiet and we had a complimentary use of the thermal spa area which was so relaxing. I would return to this hotel if we visit Calella again.
Beautiful location och great service!! Spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. Loved it. The staff is very friendly and provided great service. The restaurant had great food and good variation. I was visiting the hotel with a group of 40 persons
I can only repeat some of the previous reviews. The hotel was understaffed. The bar closed at 10 as the barman had to move to the cafe bar attached to the hotel. My room which I was at first pleased with as I had a sea view (I think only one of three on the end of the hotel) was above this bar which closed at 3am . There was screaming and shouting under my window until at least 4 am every morning and this is October not high season. The food was boring and lukewarm. The downstairs swimming pool and area was attractive but the roof plunge pool and jacuzzi were at either end of the roof terrace and could do with some work on the surrounds.Just a stony surface and some recliners was not very inviting. My room was large and well kept by the cheerful cleaning staff but climbing in and out of a bath to get a shower and with only one small safety handle was worrying. On the plus side it had loads of hot water at all times. The reception staff were helpful and the dining room staff were great although worked off their feet. And last but not least , 20euro charge for using the mini safe in the room??? …
