This hotel exceeded expectations. The grounds are lovely and green, and the room, restaurant/bars and pool areas are modern and well fitted. The adherence to Covid rules was really good and we felt very safe. Pool areas were lovely and we always found a sunbed with ease - we particularly liked the pool area near the Tropic Bar which was much quieter and more adult-focused (although not specifically adult-only). The buffet was always well stocked and staff did a great job clearing tables. Breakfast in particular was really good and tasty. Some of the lunch and dinner foods weren’t quite to our taste and felt that it was quite heavy on the fried foods and meat - not sure how a vegan or vegetarian would fare! We did always find plenty to eat however and didn’t go hungry. The evening entertainment was good, however it would be nice if there was a larger bar area to go in the evenings without entertainment as it does dominate the main bar. On the whole a great stay and as a couple who don’t usually do this sort of holiday, we were pleasantly surprised. A few points of feedback: - the air con wasn’t very effective in the room - proper mugs and coffee/tea making facilities in the room. It wasn’t clear why only paper cups provided and then not replaced. - some more vegetarian and healthy options for dinner - unclear why the pools shut at 5. People were still using them after this time as it was still hot. Perhaps it should just be clear that it is at your own risk as lifeguards have gone home. - a bit more info on the local area would be useful.

Hotel's Favourite
We have just arrived back (28th Aug) after 2 weeks in Fuerteventura and now need to self-isolate. (Johnson Family). Our stay was fantastic and the services delivered by the staff in this hotel (under very difficult circumstances) were first class. We understood before we arrived (as we had done our checking) that the worldwide pandemic would mean that some of the facilities would not be available and we accepted this knowing that our experience would be different to what you might receive in normal times. This Hotel made us feel safe and secure and the staff were always happy to help with anything that was required. We felt lucky to able to travel as a family together (especially with elderly parents in their 80's) into an environment that had been adapted to cope with the restrictions being imposed upon it. Well done to the Hotel Suites Fuerteventura Resort!! and thank you for a wonderful stay - your holiday is what you make of it after all and you certainly supported us in enjoying ours.

This accommodation was supposed to be part of the luxe collection and me and my partner were looking forward to our first holiday to a luxe hotel. However, we were quite disappointed as we paid extra for all inclusive and were surprised during our stay. The quality of food at meal times was appalling and definitely the worst meals we have had at a hotel- we actually had to pay out of our pockets to eat out most days because we were not happy with the food. At snack times there was only ham and cheese sandwiches and yoghurts and I was in utter shock upon discovering this as this is not what I paid extra for. With regards to the bar, there was one bar open on a night with a queue of about 10-15 people at a time so we did not go to the bar once during our 11 night stay. We did not get chance to utilise our all inclusive package appropriately at all. When wanting to use the pool areas and sun beds, we were also not able to do this as other guests hogged the sun beds and put their towels on them at around 6/7am every morning so by the time we had breakfast all sun beds were already taken. Overall we were really disheartened by this hotel after spending so long looking forward to a holiday after such an awful year with the pandemic. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel, we have been to better 3 star hotels in the past.

We recently returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. Overall we had a really nice time and would definitely return! The hotel facilities are brilliant. The whole complex is very modern, clean and well maintained. The grounds are lovely and such nice decor. Our room was great - large king size bed that was really comfy, spacious, nice size bathroom and terrace area with comfy loungers,. There are so many pools to enjoy. We stayed in the adults only section and never struggled for a sunbed until last 2 days (will come back to this), and walking round the resort there were always beds - I think it is just the main pool where most of the entertainment is that can be busy. Can't comment on the activities because we always stayed in the adults only, but always a full scedule advertised each day and seeing the entertainment team at night they always seemed very friendly and hard working. Food - for an all inclusive i thought the food was excellent! Always very hot and lots of choice. Salad bar, desert bar, a frying station with different meats cooked to order. I never went hungry and the chefs clearly worked hard to make sure the food always available. Different options every night,. For me, the staff in the restaurants were always approachable and friendly - same for all staff in the resort (bar staff, reception, cleaning etc,) Bars offered a wide range of sprits, wine, sangria, and 3 cocktails of the day Tips. Adults only - definitely worth paying extra! The sunbeds are so comfy, lovely peaceful pool area. Own resturant for breakfast and lunch, and separate seating area in the main restaurant where they cook steaks and other mains to order. Pool bar very close to the sunbeds. If you are looking for the luxury experience as advertised jet2, I would say the adults only is the only place to experience that Al La Carte wasnt worth it - better food in main restaurant in my opinion but maybe go for change of scenery Oscars Tapas in correlejo - wow! Book in advance. Hire a car and check out Puertito de los Molinos off the beaten track. Worth a scramble over rocks on right hand side for the amazing view of the bay and snorkelling in little lagoons. Access to a cave in low tide. Why I only gave 4* instead of 5? The hotel really cant cope with maximum capacity guests. Our last 2 days the hotel was full and it really lowered the experience. I could understand some of the negative reviews if there experience was like our final two days. All sun beds were taken very early, guests leaving towels all morning and not turning up till the afternoon. You couldnt find a table in the restaurant - had to wait for people to leave, also wait for new glasses to be placed at drinks station. No tables left to sit at night for the entertainment, extremely long queue for the bar (quiet a few tables chose to go and buy the 85c heineken from the store to not queue). If you are going to this hotel at quiet time of year you will love it, if in the peak of school holidays, be prepared to go to dinner early to get your tables and wake up early for sunbeds.
