The residence is located in Corralajo, just outside the city centre, which can be reached with a 15-minute walk ca. or by a 5-minute ride ca. with the electric scooters situated right outside the residence's gate.
The residence per se is very big, and the renting properties inside are owned by a variety of entities such as private individuals or companies. This means that within the residence, the quality of the stay and the quality of the interaction with the various landlords change greatly, despite the fact that the unites are very much similar to one another. What changes are mainly the amenities provided, such as kitchenware, cleaning products, bedding, and the prices (I.e. similar United can vary greatly in price)
The residence has three pools (at the time of this review, only one was operational), with crystal clear water and overall very well kept by the residence's personnel.
In terms of staying, it very much depends on the unite and the neighbours one happens to have. It may vary from extremely quiet to very loud even during nighttime, especially during the high season.
In terms of location, closed by teo markets for grocieries and various necessities such as HiperDino (literaly outside the gate) and Mercadona (far better choice for prices and variety of products) which is located 10min walk uphill.
Once known these little tricks and how to choose the best unite for your stay, the residence is worth it.

We stayed in a place not far from the entrance and by the pool. Really good value and just a fantastic place to stay. Quiet, modern, and right between Correlejo town and the amazing white beaches opposite Lobos Island.

The saltwater pool was fantastic - make that 2 large resort style pools. I wish we got out there more but the beaches in the area are so fantastic that we were there most of the time.

5 stars and my highest recommendation!

We stayed here for 21 nights at the end of Jan to early Feb. Our first floor one bed apartment was very spacious for the 2 of us. We thought it a little strange that the bathroom much bigger than the kitchen. The terrace was almost private and gets the sun all day. The pool area looks magnificent and will be very inviting in the heat. However we only saw being cleaned once. The gardens are lovely and we saw them being maintained almost everyday. The complex is a good 2 mile walk from the town/port area. There are a few coffee shops, cafes, bars and a recently opened super market nearby. We would walk into town and back during the day and in the evening took taxi which also are nearby. It cost 4 euros including tip.
The main problem with the property are the very thin walls. We could hear everything from next door, a Spanish family who were permanent residents. It was unfortunate that we expericenced coldest weather Fuertaventura has had in 30 years, with 50 mile per hours winds daily. So single glazed windows which were ill fitting and a thin door just didn't help keep any warmth in the property. So if it was 11c outside it was 11c inside. I used my quilted, padded coat as an eiderdown every night.

Im a regular to Fuerteventura and I know this is going against the grain on the other reviews here but it was as I found somewhat disappointing.
Firstly our apartment was good, no issues at all and they all seem pretty much similar, some owner occupied, some used as holiday lets, some overlooking pool, some not.
What really let this place down was the maintenance, the large pool has only 20 beds round it (on 17/11/16) almost all of which were broken (looked ok but check the main white slat underneath and lying on them) all have ashtrays screwed to arm rest and all full of fag ash!, the pool looks great from a distance but check out the filthy white grilling around the side, a lot of the tiles were perished and breaking up, especially round main pool entrance site as you go in, our apartment was car park side and paths were full of stones, dead leaves. Some areas I walked around were fine but sure this was owners looking after their own area which is fair enough.
I saw a maintenance guy one in the week I was there (ive only just returned) he did hoover out a few sun bed ashtrays last Monday and then spent rest of the time washing the flooring to the derelict under cover area at bottom of main entrance slope.
I know this is nothing major but was really off putting, the pool wasnt cleaned once, I was in Corralejo last month and the pool area at that establishment was cleaned daily with areas swept and jet washed also (it was a residential complex to not a hotel) , sure it is only a matter of time before someone injures them selves on the tiles that are breaking up also, had this of been a hotel I dont think guests would of accepted this.
Such a shame about these issues, as I say the apartments are great, good size, well laid out etc, if they just get the pool area, flooring, maintenance in ALL areas right it would be excellent

Oasis Tamarindo used to be a hotel but is now private apartments. I think some people live there permanently and others are holiday rentals. I thought I would post this review as there were not many on here and I didn't know what to expect before my visit. The 1 bedroom apartment was very clean and quite spacious. There is room for max 4 people - 2 in bedroom (twin beds) and 2 in sofa bed in living area. The apartment complex is about 15-20 minutes walk from the centre of Corralejo, and 30 minutes walk from the beautiful flag beach. There is a taxi rank right outside the complex which is very handy. Unfortunately some of the amenities (e.g. supermarket) that were there when it was a hotel have now closed down, but there are bars and cafes nearby. Caspers bar is highly recommended - great mojitos and Belgian beers. The main attraction for me was a swimming pool though - there are 2 pools on the complex, one being very large so that you can have a really good swim. The salt water is much kinder to the skin than chlorine, which helps when you've been in the sun! There were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool too.

This is an ok holiday complex but not a great one, its bars and restaurants long since closed and the apartments now individually owned. It was acceptable is about all I can really say. But the pools well kept clean and pleasant.

Answer from Emma F

No, the road to the complex is fairly flat, as are the surrounding streets. The complex itself is arranged around the pools and you have to go up a ramp to the complex and down a ramp to the apartments though.
