We had room 8 on the first floor which was bright and airy with a large terrace overlooking the courtyard and restaurant and views of the mountains. Loved the authentic detail of the hotel and room. Loved the roof top terrace, although the swimming pool was much too cold for me. We ate here one evening, good food and service....

A lovely bit of paradise on the outskirts of Yaiza. Bird filled trees and a very quaint pool. Look for the cat with a squeak. We had a pleasant dinner in the Bodegas on our first night. You do need a car. Sounds do carry a little, so probably not for the faint sleepers. Otherwise highly recommended.

We were on a walking holiday based at the hotel for a week. The room we had was large and quiet either side although the suite above was separated by a wooden floor so every step reverberated below. When not occupied the only sound in the mornings was thehudreds of sparrows in the garden. The waiter needed more support from...

We initially stayed at La Casona in January 2016 and liked it so much we came back this January for some winter sun. In sheltered sunshine the weather feels hot, but there's usually some wind on Lanzarote and that can cool things down in the winter months. The hotel is good - it's comfortable and clean with plenty of hot...

The property is full of charm and the staff were very friendly, the food was also very good. We stopped by in the afternoon for Tapas and...

We have just arrived back from a one week walking holiday in Lanzarote and stayed here. The building is nice and breakfast was continental and OK, can you sense a but coming.. The room we were in, room 7, was very dark and you could clearly hear conversations/ snoring in the next room. This is a BIG black mark. There...

For the past 15 years we have threatened to pop up to yaiza for a meal when visiting the island and did so tonight and wow what a little nugget we have found. The restaurant is surrounded by open fields and mountains and us like an oasis with a lovely courtyard and bougainvillea everywhere dripping into the courtyard. The building...

I stayed at La Casona de Yaiza for a night in June 2016 as a treat while staying with a friend on the other side of the island. The building is lovely and the rooms very nicely decorated and presented. The hot tub overlooking the fields is very nice and the pool area also. The walls are covered in lovely...
