Four villa's owned by a private owner. Good location in centre of yaiza. 20 minuten from airport and capital city. Villa is clean, big, has own pool, nice rooms, bathrooms and garden. Supermarket is around the corner. Great stay for people who want private or low scale tourism. Tip: villa has own garage, so rent a car!

We recently stayed at these Villas and they are excellent. We were met by the very friendly owner Tatiana who showed us round. The villa was very clean and tidy, the rooms spacious and the kitchen had every conceivable appliance you could need .......and more! The villas are close to a local supermarket for your supplies and there are restaurants within walking distance. Also the Timanfaya National Park is close by(well worth a visit). The village of Yaiza itself is very pleasant, clean and tidy.So overall we would certainly recommend these villas,as we already have to several of our friends.

We stayed at the self catering Villas Yaiza for two weeks having also arranged a Half Board option of having Breakfast and Dinner at the supposedly superb Casona de Yaiza restaurant. The restaurant is however not superb. See our seperate review of that. There are two good restaurants in Yaiza, La Era and Bodega Santiago. We were very happy with the quality and standard of the villas, pool and patios but the kitchen cutlery plates glasses etc could have been a bit more extensive. Our weather was poor so we really appreciated the washing machine and tumble dryer. Do ask for numbers 1 or 2 which are setback away from the noisy road. 3 & 4 on the road are much noisier. We were however most disappointed that when we arrived to collect the keys from Jose at the Casona re Yaiza as no members of staff were available to greet us. There have been remarks from others about Jose Amigo's absence and his reluctance to engage and make himself available for his guests. You simply do not feel he is a concerned host. It is a terrible impression!

The house itself is OK. It's clean and new enough to be up to date. BUT if you want to open a window at night or sit by the pool avoid it. THE main road of south Lanzarote leads right past it. We wouldn't go back there.
