The room was clean, the bed a comfortable real double bed. Only minus point - it was rather cold -only a sheet and a thin blanket available was a bit too little late in the season. Breakfast is ok and the host very friendly and trying to accommodate your wishes. Nevertheless, If you want eggs be aware that they might stand around without heating at the buffet. No fresh prep unfortunately. All in all a good deal, good sleep in a calm dead end road, but with still some things to improve.
Excellent stay for everyone who is looking for peace and quiet. Our room was very big and had an excellent view over the mountains. Breakfast was simple but very good. The host Silvia gave us several tips to discover the island.Thanks!..!!!
This is a pretty Casa Rural with nice, comfortable and unpretentious accomodation. We stayed in a lovely room with a large balcony overlooking the garden and the surrounding hills. It would have been even better used had the weather been good, but sadly it was often cold, wet and windy. Lots of greenery in the garden surrounded a lovely swimming pool. Breakfasts were good and nothing was too much trouble for Luca who gave us tips on where to visit. This was a really nice place to stay, but be warned. Finding the place was a real challenge, especially in the dark! Internet directions are not good enough to help, particularly as there is a distinct lack of road name signs. To find this lovely place, drive by the main square on the LZ2 from the airport until you get to Galeria Yaiza on your left. Immediately to the left of the gallery is the road you need, bearing left as you drive the short distance. Parking is at the top of the road, conveniently near the casa which is number 8. Also note that check in stops incredibly early at 2pm, so if you are arriving after that, make sure you get Luca to email/text you the instructions for getting in! Once in, you won't be disappointed!…
We stayed here for five nights because we wanted to explore the island without being right down at one end of the island or the other. This was basic accommodation, but pleasant enough, and with a really good breakfast and very easy access to the main road north and south and to the Timanfaya National Park, and we thought it was very good value for money. There are very good eating places in the town, though they took a bit of tracking down via Google - some of the promising-looking places we saw in the day turned out to be closed in the evening. Luca, who manages the property, was charming and helpful - though it would have been good if he could have recommended some eating places for the evenings (rather than us having to start from scratch). The swimming pool was too cold to use in January, but it's a lovely pool and surrounding terrace area, which must be lovely in the summer.…
We stayed here for two nights after spending a week in Guime. Really clean and comfortable and in a great location for exploring the national park. The owner was really kind and very hospitable. Breakfast is really good and very flexible. If you wish/need to stay in this area I would very much recommend it. Peter & Jacqui
