We made the booking via booking.com and compared to the payed price the quality of service was above. We stayed in the new part of the complex. I can not speak for the old one. We had all inclusive and the food was really good. The position is also amazing, close to a beach with cristal water, white and smooth sand and shallow sea entry. Really good for families with kids.

Perfect for families with kids: just (literally) few meters away from the beach with nice gardens perfectly maintained and enclosed to prevent small kids getting out alone, with a special pool with a pirate ship available only for kids (and 3 other pools available for adults with the usual kids pool next to them). Bike and car rental in the hotel (or across the street). Plenty of food of very good quality. Good selection of alcoholic drinks.
Insanely clean - garden, room, pools, restaurant, gardens (the hotel is surrounded by a glass wall - I spot no single fingerprint or dirtiness on any!)

Sa Coma is the perfect place to holiday with a young family. The entire resort is spotlessly clean with beautiful beaches and very gently shelving sea. The hotel itself is very much geared towards families and caters for everyone. It occupies a large site, divided across roads (not busy) and is right next to the sea front. The rooms (we had 1 bedroom garden rooms) are large and well equipped with fantastic balconies offering plenty of space to relax. The hotel has beautifully landscaped grounds and moving from one area of the hotel to another is pleasant and easy.
The food was outstanding. We were a family of mixed ages and every taste and age was well catered for. The range and quality of food was extremely impressive and there was barely a time during the day when some kind of food was available. The dining areas were kept spotlessly clean and were always well organised. The quality of drinks was also much higher than other all inclusive hotels we've stayed in, and included a wide range of cocktails, wine and cava. For the children, there were constantly stocked freezers with ice creams and ice lollies for you to help yourself to, as well as slush dispensers at the pool bar.
There were several pools to enjoy, the highlight for our grandson being the children's pool with the pirate ship and slides. He was a little too young to take advantage of the kids club, but their facilities, organisation and programme were faultless. A good standard of evening entertainment was also available throughout our holiday, and all in all this was the best family-orientated hotel we've ever stayed in. I really can't recommend it enough.

We travelled as a family of 2 adults, 3 kids and my parents also travelled with us. Before we even left for Majorca we had to complete a pre check in for the hotel which was totally pointless as when we arrived at 2am we had to complete the check in all over again! The hotel is divided between a number of roads which is not stated anywhere on the website. We stayed in a 1 bedroom garden apartment which was across the road from the main hotel but ideally located as we were beside the splash pool & another pool however to get a sun bed you would want to be up at 7am as they were reserved when guests were going for their all inclusive breakfasts! The hotel was predominantly German and the activities were all geared for this including the mini disco and shows (not much English was spoken)! We were self catering and I am glad we were as the one night where I had wine from the bar it was poured from a tap!! Disgusting is not the word!! The pool bar beside the pool we swam in was not open which was very disappointing as there was no where to get a snack/ drink during the day unless you were all inclusive! The reception area is far to small for the number of apartments / guests staying in the hotel there should be a reception area for each block to avoid long delays at reception! Our keys were cut off the day before we were due to check out and I was 25 mins waiting in reception to have them activated again! The reception staff really need to be re-trained in their customer service skills, majority of them were extremely rude, unhelpful & didn’t really want to know unless you were Spanish or German! The day we were coming home I was sitting in the reception area, I took my mask down to have a drink of my water and the guy behind the reception rudely addressed me and told me to put my mask back on..Sa Coma is absolutely beautiful & I would return to the area however I would not return to this hotel, the location was ideal but there were a number of things I found very disappointing especially for the money we paid (expensive) !!

The variety of food available was very limited, especially for children. The breakfast hot buffet was very limited; there should be an option for choosing your own omelette and fillings, 100% pork sausages should be available for breakfast and for children. The one drinks machine available at breakfast caused very large queues. There was no English tea available and no teapots to make a drink. The temperature in the main restaurant was far too warm; 29.7 degrees was uncomfortable- there should be good working air conditioning available. Around the pools there be access to ready available self service drinking water. Bottles of water should also be provided in each room on a daily basis. The children’s entertainment was regularly catered for the German guests speaking and singing in German which our children could not understand. As English guests we felt isolated and a minority with limited communication from the staff. Only one member of staff, Mario, interacted with our family!! Such a shame as the hotel and location is excellent and the pool facilities and loungers are also excellent.

Hello,
Organizing holidays with 5 gran-children of 8,9,10,11 and 12cyears is a challenge. We spend 1 week at Hipotel Mediteraneo Club in Sa Coma and it was a great success: Nice swimming pools adapted to children, The beach just next to the hotel, we had 2 apartments next to each other. With the "all inclusive" formula, the buffets were perfect and adapted to the different tastes.
The rooms are very nice and everything is very clean all the time.
I would say that this hotel is specifically well adapted for the families with children

The hotel is a bit confusing because there is the reception which give you a room number but when they gave me my room number we had to go to a whole different place and there are so many just scattered around the place. But the looks and cleanness is amazing and the beds arent so comfy as i would of thought it feels very hard and i was quite cold with only a very thin cover for a option. I suggest that you buy the exclusive because 1 meal wouod cost you 45 so imagine , breakfast lunch and dinner no matter how small your meal is!

We booked here for a big family holiday with my in-laws and mother in law. The hotel itself is huge, there is many buildings located with hipotels. We was placed in building 15 and 16 so you can grasp the scale of huge. There is only one reception for all of them but it went ok checking in and checking out, we did have to wait abit but that's understandable regarding the scale of the place. The food and main children's pool and play area are located over the road from the reception. Our building (15) was on the reception side which meant we couldn't leave the older kids alone (11-12) due to the road, it also meant each time we wanted something to eat if we was in our room we have to have the short walk over. The beach is right on the front so anyone is building 15 got a sea view which was lovely. The beach is right on the front so anyone is building 15 got a sea view which was lovely too. Each room is clean and lovely but the main beds and pillows are little hard. The couch bed are softer too.
It was amazing for the children when you put them into the club, the club itself does have some small charges depending on the activity. It also only ran for children 2 and over. They spoke in Spanish, german and english so it was easier for the children to interact. On a few nights the included the children in the nightly shows which was a perfect little touch. (these shows was also in Spanish, german and english, each having a little section to include everyone)
The pools when we went (beginning of April) were freezing. As my husband described it 'like an ice plunge pool' after around 20 minutes of my daughter (3) swimming in it her lips turned blue and my eldest (11) went in once and refused to enter it for the rest of the holiday. Myself i went in twice and its a sharp breath away but if you swim and stay moving the temp becomes bearable.
The restaurants are both buffet style and the food is amazing. There is a good selection of food available for everyone's needs. From vegan to the meat lovers and the drinks in the buffet restaurants are on tap that you get up and get yourself. The only annoyance we encountered was the booking for a restaurant. Its just a smaller buffet, so you still have to get up and get your own food but the drinks are table service. We as a party assumed it would be all table service and that's why we booked if we had known we wouldn't have bothered. There is plenty to do around the area too from hikes to bike rides.

In the period of covid we really appreciate the indipendence of the apartments and the care for the cleaning of all the common part of the resort. Perfect location for the most beaufiful beaches. The pools are big and funny. The interiors of the apartments are a little bit old but the air condition works well and the beds are very comfortable.

Large family group holiday, thoroughly enjoyable at Hipotels Mediterraneo Club. Plenty of activities for whole group. We stayed in the garden apartments across the road from main reception overlooking smaller pool area. Pools are busy even in mid June; usual towel brigade reserving Sun beds from 7.30am but there is a great beach is just across the road, so no big deal.
We stayed self catering but there is an option to upgrade on arrival with meals in the restaurant. We didn’t as were not ones for queuing; amazing to see other nationalities form long queues before restaurant opened.
Lots of nice restaurants nearby, we frequented the Irish bar, the Italian and others further along the beach promenade.
The apartments are well equipped, we had one bed apartments & two studios; walk-in showers, hairdryer, small kitchen area, tv and comfy beds. Only thing I’d say was missing were bedside table and a full length mirror in the studio apartments. Cleaner was in every day apart from Thurs. All staff very friendly and helpful. Animation team work so hard to put on shows in evening which were good fun. Lots of different nationalities staying main ones being German.
Would return as Sa Coma is beautiful, next time would prefer a room with a sea view.

Yes, there was separate bedroom for 2 people and the other could sleep on a sofa in the kitchen / living room.

Hi the Hotel is spread across different areas around the main Hotel Reception - some are closer to the beach some are across the road where several pools and restaurants are located. Approximate distance between the two “areas” is around 300 meters so not far at all. I did not see a lift so would definitely stipulate your individual requirements and ensure you have a ground floor apartment as near as possible to your preferred area. Hope this helps.
