Our room which was a Junior Suite was so nice, spacious and had a great view over to the sea, sitting on the large balcony made it very relaxing watching the world go by.
Housekeeping was normally very good, although 3 times we had no towels left in the room and after the rain in our last week the balcony glass was very dirty which would have been nice to see through it as it was not cleaned.
Breakfast were good with a wide choice of drinks/food. The experience was let down by the self serve coffee machines, all too close to the crockery which made our experience of trying to get a drink a bit frustrating.
The only other area of the Hotel letting itself down is in the lack of sun beds available. Some approx 60 beds available for a possible 200 guests, so the maths are not good. People are so sad that that mostly every where they get up early and place towels on beds, no different at this hotel. However the Hotel does lay leaflets around stating that the towels WILL be removed after 20 minutes. At no time during our 2 week stay were any towels removed with guests getting up at 07.30 and placing towels on beds, leaving the hotel for hours and then returning back to the beds. So the pool area could be utilised much better to provide more guests with beds, the lack of them just enhances the already poor culture of some of sad people who life must exist in around getting sun beds.
This said our overall stay was excellent and mainly down to the location of the hotel, the staff being very friendly, good attitude and being helpful.
We booked a Superior Double with a Sea View via Jet2 Holidays and it was very good. However, when we arrived at 10.15pm reception had no booking for us at all, despite my having emailed the hotel a week beforehand to state a preference for a high floor. After much delay and deliberation we were given room 218 with a promise that we could move to 414 some 5 days later. We were not happy about unpacking and then moving again. The following morning, Stephenie, our Jet2 rep, listened to our story, confirmed to herself that it wasn't Jet2's fault, went to reception and organised an immediate move to 423, which is where we happily stayed for the 3 weeks.
The room had twin beds, comfortable but a bit creaky. Storage space was reasonable, and we were able to squeeze in our 3 weeks' worth of clothing. There was no bath but the shower was excellent: overhead shower plus handheld and push button controls for both. The balconies are a reasonable size but lack some privacy, and the view was excellent. The bedroom walls were not well insulated for sound, we could hear talking and TV. The other slightly annoying feature was that the room maids often came in mid afternoon, which cut out most siestas.
We booked half board, so were a little confused at first by the a la carte menu system. The hotel is too small for a buffet system at dinner. However, we could choose a starter, a main course and a dessert, and the printed prices were irrelevant. The restaurant runs a system of 3 menus on a rolling 2-day rotor. This is fine but if you are there for 3 weeks the same options keep coming round. The quality of the food was very good, and the choice at breakfast was good too. Lunches were available at poolside.
The restaurant and reception staff were really nice and helpful. There were times when the dinner service appeared a bit disorganised, but everything was very relaxed.
The hotel location is excellent, facing onto the beach and promenade walk, and also only about 5 minutes walk to the bus stop for the excellent bus services to Palma and intermediate stops one way, and the short distance to beautiful Port Andratx the other.
We didn't use the pool but it seemed very popular and the sun beds were well used.

We booked a junior en-suite with a corner view which we absolutely loved and in our opinion, well worth the upgrade. The room is an excellent size and we loved the dual aspect, sitting on the balcony and watching the world below was such a pleasure especially with a chilled glass of wine ! The bed and bedding was extremely comfortable .
This is a boutique adults only hotel which never appears crowded, the pool is small but mainly used as a place to sit , chat and cool down. The beach is mere steps from the hotel and the sea not far beyond . The beach is sandy and slopes gently into the water , ideal if you have mobility issues.
Breakfast opened at 7.30am and gently filled , it was never super busy. The buffet was always fresh , something for everyone.
We loved the communal areas, so elegant and fresh. Lovely to sit and read or have a drink. Rodrigo works tirelessly behind the bar .
The reception staff could not be more welcoming. Huge thanks to Carlos, Miguel and Silvia for whom nothing is too much trouble. It’s not easy working with the general public especially in different languages, but you did it all with a calm manner and a smile. Well done.
This is our fourth visit to H10 Camp de Mar and to ensure we get our preferred room for next September we have already booked and paid in full. One less thing to worry about and plenty of time to book our other holidays !
Finally our gratitude to Leonor Torrens, she manages this hotel magnificently, she’s quick to respond to emails and is an ever present presence. Thank you to all.

The room is clean, smartly finished, complete with everything you’ll need. The shower is divine, with a large ceiling shower head and good water pressure. The products smell amazing and the robe and slippers are a nice touch. The twin basin gives ample room for getting ready. Our balcony received sun in the morning and there’s a limited vew of the bay but it’s still lovely overlooking the pool. Coffee machine in the room is a nice touch.
Staff are friendly, attentive, and work hard to keep the place clean and tidy. Reception staff keen to help and can answer any queries. The food is tasty, even my fussy boyfriend asking for items to be removed from his meal was no problem for them. Breakfast is great. There’s a good mix of healthy items such as fruit, cereals, egg options (boiled, fried, omelettes), as well as the usual bscon, sausage, beans, etc. Coffee is tasty, and many tea options also.
The pool area is clean. The spa is small so can get quite busy, but the sauna and jacuzzi were perfect after a day on the mats. Towels are provided so less to pack. If you are a light sleeper like me, please consider bringing ear plugs, or asking for a room on the higher floors (4 or 5) as the L-shaped design of the hotel means sounds in the bar/terrace area can be heard.
The location is perfect, right on the beach. Camp de Mar is a small resort, it feels quite exclusive and this is reflected in the prices at the restaurants, the pharmacy, and supermarkets, so be aware of that. If you like sushi however, the Maria 5 restaurant nearby is wonderful, we visited 3 times.
We had a great time at H10 Blue Mar and have already booked our visit again with them next year. ¡Muchos Gracias!

What makes this hotel is the staff, all are polite and keen to help but Silvia on reception stands out, H10 should use her approach as a great example when training staff, nothing was too much trouble and any niggle she sorted out.

The rooms are a little small, but that's a boutique hotel. It had everything we needed though. The pool is also smaller than it looks on the photos. Don't plan to do lengths, but it's fine for a dip (and the sea is a few steps away!)
It was absolutely boiling when we went (thirty plus degrees celsius) which was a challenge - there wasn't a huge amount of breeze by the pool and by the end of the day the pool water was like getting in to a hot bath. The roof terrace bit was also extremely hot. The hotel have sensibly set up loungers in a shady inside area too, which was very helpful when it got a bit too hot.
We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant every morning. The layout could be a bit of a challenge with a small queue for hot drink machines and the area with the bread and the toasters was very close and behind a column. Food selection was great though and the service was good.
Because we are a certain level of H10 membership, we got a free meal in the hotel restaurant one evening. It was very quiet, but a lovely relaxed meal and the food was fantastic.
It is a good location to access other restaurants - you're going to pay a bit more for the location and views in some of the restaurants, but you don't have to wander far to find some cheaper options without the views if that's what you're after.
We will definitely be back but probably in a slightly quieter, cooler time than mid-July.

On a positive, for the most part the staff were very friendly, with one or two exceptions. The hotel seems very understaffed and this really shows.
We were half board and the buffet breakfast was very nice, with plenty of options.
Unfortunately the evening meal was a BIG disappointment and led us to eating out most evenings, not great considering the few surrounding restaurants are so very highly priced on the most part.
The evenings we did eat in the hotel we found the service shambolic (especially on the nights the head waiter was off), the wait was lengthy, the food luke warm at best, but the main problem was the portion size of the main courses. Guess they are going for presentation but for most people a tiny portion of the protein which comes with the likes of half a cherry tomato, a few potato peelings and some dots of sauce, is not a satisfying meal! No sides on offer even if you wished to pay the extra. Honestly wouldn't feed a child, I have included a picture but unfortunately only thought to take one, probably the best main we had there as well!, didn't go back for more.
Bar area OK but on the pricy side, no option to pay as you go, which we prefer to do based on previous experiences, and a number of times we had to correct them on our room number so someone else didn't get our drinks added to their bill. Definitely big room for errors here.
Entertainment is VERY low key and twice a week, not even any background music on the other nights. Very dull. Also quite shabby, cobwebs and dust bunnies hanging under the inside chairs, the outside chairs are material so soak up the rain, of which there was a lot! Often the bar was not staffed and it took us 3 days to discover a drinks menu, which was under a counter behind the bar and had to be asked for.
Nespresso machine is mentioned as a nice touch in the room, which says it is stocked daily. You actually need to restock it yourself by getting supplies from reception, never come across that one before.
Do be aware that the pool is a fraction of the size it looks on the photos. The sunbeds are well spaced and in reasonable condition.
If you like a 'boutique hotel' which is quiet and basic this could be for you. I note many positive reviews, but our experience was unfortunately not a positive one and we would definitely not return.

I booked as b&b, breakfast was lovely, nice coffee, fresh fruit, hot breakfast, and pastries, including cooked to order omelettes. Couldn’t fault it!
The beach is across the walkway, super easy to leave your towels on a sunbed around the pool and walk over for a sea swim in the bay. Nice amount of space around the pool for sunbeds and access to the bar for drinks and snacks.
Food in the area is on the expensive side, but as to be expected in a more luxurious area.
Easy to get the bus to palma, a 5 minute walk up the road.
Lovely location and staff, would absolutely return again!
"Small pool but we used the beach though had to pay for bed & sun umbrella there €16 for two "Read full review
"Very middle aged crowd, not for youngsters or people that like a loud bar, as no children are allowed here. "Read full review
