Visited here mid October with 2 friends, lovely small hotel.
GOOD: Friendly staff lovely clean pool..rooms clean and good size.2 min walk to lovely beach.
NOT SO GOOD: (BUT NOT BAD)
View from balcony was overlooking a road and another hotels balconies. Breakfast not the best, if you are looking for a good English brekki it's just scrambled egg Spanish bacon and tomatoes(not very warm), but plenty of breads, cereal, cheese and fruit so you won't go hungry. Also it says an hour transfer but if you choose the shuttle bus it's more like 2 hours!
Would I stay here again? Absolutely I would..The seafront is lovely with some great restaurants..

We just ended our week long vacation at Maracaibo.
It was a very nice stay.

The best part was the friendly and helpful personal.
The apartments are roomy with a big balcony.
Very close to the small city and the gorgeous beach.
The breakfast buffet had a little something to every taste.

I would recommend to bring your own pillow, as it is very uncomfortable to sleep with. Also bring earplugs, as you can hear your neighbors in the night.

All in all a very nice vacation and a pleasent stay at Maracaibo.

The Aparthotel Maracaibo, in my opinion, is placed in a perfect place. Its vicinity with the beach and the near-sea walking lane makes the structure a good choice for whom want to enjoy the Mallorcan spirit and have at the same time some relaxing times.
It is not in the nearings of the airport, but when renting a car the distance is not felt that much.
It is rated a 3-star superior, and definitely this matches what you would expect from a structure like that. The staff is great and always available when in need, though I should appoint that sometimes some of the staff would not answer completely my doubts and questions due to some language barrier. Apart from that, communication was good (i am Italian, Spanish has not been much difficult to understand).
Be slightly careful when booking the stay because there may be some charges (upon arrival) due to errors related to the booking platform (there was an error with Booking.com regarding the tourist tax), though with not much impact.
Rooms were not thoroughly clean at our arrival (especially the kitchen), but in the whole it was good.
Wrapping up, the experience in that Aparthotel has been interesting and definitely something i would recommend to others.

Recently returned from a week at this hotel. Great value for money, the rooms are large with plenty of room etc, great staff and only a few minutes walk from the beach and bars/restaurants. Would definitely stay here again if we went back to this resort.

We arrived on a monday 7th June. initial impression very good. Nice rooms, bath, decent bedrooms and a kitchen. When we checked, there was a 2 ring hob that was rusty and probably hadn't been cleaned for some time. Next was trying to get it to work. Anti-clockwise control for each and a timerin the middle. We eventually found that it worked in tandem with the timer, but no grill so not much good really. Heating water for coffee/tea only. No kettle either. Oh well..
Now, would the air conditioning work? We'd specifically booked a hotel with air con as last years holiday didn't have it and we really needed it! Surprise, surprise. No, not working. Down to reception. Lovely and cool...hmm...air con? We were told they(who?) were working on it. half an hour and it will be fixed. Not on our 10 day holiday anyway!
Add to that a french door that couldn't be locked and it wasn't a good start.
Having said that the location was fine. Nice pool. Beach a short walk. Plenty of restaurants on the front but mostly german with said menu's. Go up sidestreets further east from hotel to find a couple of english pubs/restaurants. english menu if you get fed up with schnitzel!
There was unusual weather when we were there and it was cloudy and very windy with a few days of heavy rain. Hire a car and do the sights then.
Overall then a mixed review. You always find something at your hotel thats not right but it would be good if it was resolved. Loads of sunshine would have helped but not lucky this time.

This hotel is located up a side street right in the heart of Can Picafort.

The hotel itself has a small pool, a bar/restaurant and 24 hour reception.
They have daily deals on the evening meals and breakfast every morning, with a BBQ and live music every Tuesday night.

The rooms were very clean, we had a room overlooking the pool which was well worth asking for at the time of booking as the others all face out into the street.
There was a maid service every day which was good and the beds were very comfortable. Each room has air con, a fridge, tv, and cooking facilities.

The staff were all very friendly and the reception staff were excellent. Their only downside is that it took a very long time to get a drink at the bar. There wasn't a queue or a lot of people ordering, it's just that the staff are very slow and don't seem to mind taking their sweet time 😂

The sunbeds round the pool were good, each had parasols nearby and these didn't get filled up first thing by towels. You could usually always get a sunbed during any time of the day.

Other than that there is no night entertainment or kids clubs at this hotel. The bar is open til 12am but it's very quiet. It isn't a resort type hotel it's just somewhere quiet to stay while you go out to eat drink and explore the area. We didn't mind this though as when we got back we enjoyed a quiet drink on the balcony while the kids went to bed.

The location of this hotel was the best part. The beach is at the end of the street, around a 2-3 minute walk and along the way are streets and streets of shops, bars, restaurants, stalls, supermarkets etc.
You name it and this place will sell it!
There was so many shops and restaurants to choose from that if you saw something in one shop meaning to go back for it another day you'd have no chance of remembering where it was again as the hundreds of other shops nearby made it too confusing 😆 so its best to buy things as you come across them.

Everywhere is around the same price in shops etc but we found the restaurants along the beach front were considerably more expensive than those set back up the side streets. It's worth looking around before you decide to eat to get a cheaper meal.
Bottled beer in the bars were around €4 each which is pretty high and the cocktails and milkshakes go for around €5 to €5.50 again quite pricey.

There was also quite a lot to do in the way of tours and theme parks, water parks were nearby and we did the karting in can picafort which was a lot of fun.
Reception are very helpful when organising trips and excursions and will arrange it all for you.

Overall brilliant place to stay, would recommend this hotel and would go back again. The whole place was lovely, very lively with plenty to see and do.
Brilliant place for kids and family holidays.

It was a very nice, clean hotel. We had an appartment with aircondition, tv (very small), two beds, a sitting room with two sofabeds, as well as a nice bathroom. There was also a tea kitchen - and a nice balcony. Breakfast was not included and there was no Wi-fi!
The pool was nice, and the hotel is not far from the beach, but far enough so one is not disturbed by to much noice.
The hotel does not have a parking areas, so one has to find a parking space on the street - not easy - and we visited before the high season.
Choose a room overlooking the pool.
If I for some reason should retur to Can Picafort, I would probably return to this hotel.

Are pool towels available to hire?

Hi, the apartments are great as a base, convieniantly located in the centre of C’an Picafort, close to the shops and beach. The only downfalls are not a lot of drawer storage in the room if more than 2 persons. The rooms themselves could do with some modernisation but the rest of the hotel is nicely modernised. Very popular with the Danish. I would use as a base again. C’an Picafort is a nice area with lots of shops and restaurants and a lovely but busy beach. I suppose it all depends what you want from your holiday. Hope this helps, if you need anything else just ask.

Unfortunately they allocate on arrival but you can email them direct you may be lucky we went in busy time. To be honest we was glad we never got the pool view lot less noise. Not saying it was overly noisy just more peaceful. Great spot beach is 2 mins away. Try the restaurants down the side streets not on the front :)
