We had a lovely stay here during the Covid-19 pandemic. As you would expect at this time the hotel was very quiet, as was the whole of Mallorca. This is a lovely hotel in a great location, sat on a small cliff overlooking the bay and a short walk from the beautiful Cala Anguila beach. Outside the hotel there are many bars and restaurants, most of which were closed due to the lack of tourists at this time, and the hotel is also just 200 metres from the Harbour. Perfect location. The hotel itself is realiy nice, spotlessly clean and well maintained. We were lucky enough to have our room upgraded because the hotel had space to do so. The room we were given was a 1 bedroom apartment, which had all the amenities you could wish for. The beds were very comfortable and had good quality bed linen. The bathroom was spacious and modern. We stayed on a half board basis and the food was excellent, plenty of choice and a good variety, including international dishes. The pool area is clean, there are thick pads on the sun loungers and towels are provided for use at the pool area. The pool isn't huge for a hotel of this size but, as there were very few people staying at this time, it wasn't a problem. For all of the good points above, the most outstanding thing about this hotel is the staff. The service is exceptional and always with a smile. They make every effort to ensure that you enjoy your stay. I would like to make a special mention of the gentleman in reception who welcomed us on arrival, his manner and helpfulness made us feel comfortable and happy from the very first minute. I'd also like to make a special mention for the manager who was always available with a greeting and a smile. You can tell that he is proud of his hotel and that the staff are happy working there. This is an extremely well run hotel and you are right to be proud. We'll done sir!

After the Covid me and my family we have decided to visit Majorca. i have booked hotel directly and had been surprised with big help from hotel. Any request is not a problem, any problems always is looking for a solution. I was hugely surprised when director come in person to speak to each guests, introduce himself and let you know that you are very welcome and everybody in the hotel is there to help.
Location: very good with facing quiet street or simply directly to ocean. Size: not sure how many rooms but as it was only 2 story it looks smaller Rooms: Nice, new, good size for 2 adults+2 kids Restaurant : nice with Swedish tables for breakfast and dinner. Every day different cuisine for dinner. Breakfast very good choice. We had half board and it was enough and very good as most of the time we spend at the beach or in afternoon at the small swimming pools which were enough to relax. Lunch: you can have at the hotel (very tasteful) or outside close by is few restaurants or if you are at the beach few places to eat Beach: 7-10 minutes walk from hotel through coastline road.Great for morning or evening jogging. On the beach you can rent sun umbrella and 2 beds for price of EUR 15 per day. Beach is sandy, around 100 meters from the coast water is around 1,5 meters deep, blue, clean and you can do some snorkeling.Beach is over 1 km long with nice pine trees behind . On the other side of beach you can find some roads which lead you to other beaches or simply to the hill above the cost(amazing view over the coast and worth to visit. Around 40-60 minutes walk) Hotel is around 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of city .
If you are looking for a relax full place with still access to restaurant , beach , morning jogging and evening sunsets and not noise place then this hotel is for you.

My husband and I enjoyed a few days at El Cid hotel and 3 nights at THB Guya Playa hotel, in our annual holiday stay in Mallorca, this September. This is our first stay at THB Guya Playa and it was lovely. The sea views are amazing, we enjoyed them from the pool, our room and the dining room. The room was great, nice and comfortable. We were all inclusive and enjoyed their food, I highly recommend their freshly made waffles. The hotel felt totally safe, all staff wearing PPE and respecting social distancing. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was such a relaxed environment, I wish we'd stayed longer. But needed to return home to quarantine. Thank you for making us feel safe, relaxed and special.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We have a 1 year old and the hotel was perfect with a baby. We got a baby bed and we also asked for a baby chair so we could feed her in our room and that wasn’t a problem. The restaurant was such a highlight, food was just excellent with sooo much choice, especially appreciated having cooks there available to cook you pancakes, eggs whichever way you like or fry fresh fish or meat just as you want. Rooms were regularly cleaned, and staff was just amazing - everyone would take time and interact with our daughter, at the restaurant the waiters would always bring us extra tissues, spoons, they would be so helpful and kind! You can see that the staff are treated well and are happy so they’re not stressed and tense and the atmosphere was nice and kind. Even the hotel manager would take time to say hi and give our daughter and us some attention. We appreciated a lot the pool area, where there’s 2 pools that are baby friendly. The spa was nice too just a shame it closes at 7 pm. We will definitely come back !

Splendid welcome even though we arrived at 3 in the morning and excellent assistance received for every need from Toni, Sandra or Karina... all very kind and helpful. The Guya playa hotel is very good. Nicely decorated, spacious rooms, terrace, pools, bistros, great food ...
The staff are friendly and well trained, always available. The food that the hotel serves is very good and fresh. The breakfast has a lot of choice. They have also been very diligent to act safely because of COVID-19.
The rooms are spacious and have everything you need (including a small kitchen). The only thing that can be improved is the cleanliness, which in my opinion has been lacking a bit.
The pools are of excellent temperature, refreshing and well maintained. When you are in the pool or by the pool sunbathing, you can see the sea.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Cala Ratjada, it's a great hotel!

Today we left the hotel DELIGHTED with our stay!!! Vicenta and her team have treated us wonderfully!! It is what we value most...human treatment!! Luigi and José Antonio, the "Cádiz native", have taken care to keep us very well cared for and with the beer always cold. Our stay at the Guya Playa hotel has been amazing. The location is perfect, on the seafront and only five minutes walk from the beautiful beach of Cala Agulla. It is ideal for families, as it has a mini club for the little ones and a super pool that overlooks the sea. The breakfast and dinner buffet is very good and varied. Every night there is themed dinner. We loved Tex Mex, with typical Mexican dishes (quesadillas, nachos, beans, etc.) The staff is very friendly and attentive, especially Director Vicenta, always watching that everything is okay. We arrived before check-in time and, although our room was not ready, we were invited to a cocktail and offered towels for swimming in the pool. We'll definitely be back!

Whilst my partner booked a sea view with balcony from the main bedroom we were somewhat disappointed to only have a small balcony off the living area with a limited sea view? The rooms were all stated to have separate individual controllable air conditioning but in reality the system relied on selections from other people linked to the same system and a complaint in the first week we were offered fans if we were too hot so the system was most certainly not individual room controlled as stated This was resolved within the next two weeks as it got warmer and presumably all people were setting their systems to cold!
A major problem was the excessive walk to our room from the lift area timed at over two and a quarter mins for each journey which became a significant chore during the day for two 70+ persons
Staff who did cleaning and served in the restaurant were efficient and most helpful at all times
Food was plentiful but at times was not kept fully hot within the warming pans and you had to wait for new supplies to be brought out, chips, baked beans, scrambled eggs to get hot portions only when these were replenished More specific local specialities would have been appreciated together with more variability in the weekly food selections A major improvement would be a toaster that actually worked efficiently as you had to wait 10mins at the least to get something hot and well toasted as most people just gave up leaving bread to eventually burn off, this was as very disappointing Fresh orange juice would have been a nice gesture together with fresh strawberries considering the island produce available

Ideal family hotel for children, with daily entertainment and activities for the little ones, without neglecting details and services for adults, wonderful SPA, relaxing massages, gym... I just returned. There was no impact at all. Many Spanish people are also there on holiday. The protests are against unlicensed tourism and Airbnb rather than legitimate businesses and tourist taxpayers.

we do have a miniclub and a minidisco. the beach is about ten minute walk.
2. and regarding to our food offer, we do offer breakfast and dinner ( halfboard ) and also we do have a snack.
the variety is quit big. but if you are not sure, you could only resérvate the room, and then have a look here our food offer nad then decide if you would like to buy. each day you can decide , if you would like to buy breakfast and /or dinner.
