One of the most stunning villages I have seen and El Torreon is right in the heart of main street called Calle Real is right in tje heart of the village. Everything is in easy walking distance from restaurants to small shops and a boutique brewery. There is a small train the takes you on a tour around part of the village and is great for kids and adults. El Torreon has a small infinity pool where the views of the costa del sol are breathtaking especially at night. Breakfast is very nice and the staff friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
Location is central but quite a way from main road. Good for local restaurants and shops. Missed email re location of key safe so arrival was a bit stressful as Torreon is not staffed after breakfast. Pretty room with small seating area and bathroom. Limited views. Breakfasts were same buffet every day and outside cafe chairs and table were a bit wobbly. We stayed a week which is too long for a B&B. Owners very friendly. Super infinity pool on roof but small space so only really worked if you had the space to yourselves. Recommend for a 2/3 night stay to experience rural Spain.
Stayed last night on the way from Malaga to Sierra Nevada. Boutique in appearance and sheer quality in substance. Best sleep in Spain so far on a great mattress and with excellent aircon. A good shower before a superb alfresco breakfast at 9am in the courtyard below our balcony and the top level infinity plunge pool. A lovely hostess topped off a tremendous stay. Park on the MA5105, walk to the property from the north (not the steps from the west) and have dinner at La Casino (200m back towards the new town on the same street).
Stayed here for 6 night whilst attending a friends wedding nearby. This place has an abundance of charm and character. The breakfast setting was beautiful, the room was a delight. I really enjoyed my stay here, it’s in a great little spot. Just one thing to mention and it no way reflects on the hotel. There is no vehicular access so I had to drag my 25kg case up 1.2 km of uphill cobbles which was exhausting but well worth it. I would stay here again but keep the luggage light! Frigiliana is absolutely stunning.
We stayed at this charming B&B in Frigiliana in July 2019. The room was very comfortable and the location was perfect for access to the shops, restaurants and sights in the Old Town. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and there is a good choice of cheese, fruit, cereal, boiled eggs and pastries along with orange juice and excellent coffee. The staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. There is a gorgeous plunge pool on the roof with great views of the countryside. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful village and lovely B&B.
