We stayed for 4 nights in February and loved the whole experience. Our room was clean and simply decorated, not large but then we didn't spend much time indoors because there was so much to do on the island! Great sea view, powerful roomy shower, comfortable beds. The breakfasts were just right - plenty of fresh fruit, assorted breads and...

A wonderful place to stay in Ponta Do Sol. Small hotel with good restaurant and bar. Friendly staff. Close to the sea. Nice room with sea view. Only downside is the road in front of the hotel with some local traffic. Good value for money. Would definitely come back.

Small but very good hotel. Guests can use the facilities (pool, bar, restaurant, jacuzi, etc) of a large hotel few minutes walking away. The hotel has a small bar-restaurant. Service is friendly and efficient. Breakfast is quite good. Rooms are not big but large enough with a good view of the sea. Bathroom with shower. Everything very clean. Beds are...

I stayed 4 nights at this wonderful hotel. Had a great experience, simple and beautifully decorated rooms, very comfortable beds, super clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Staying at Hotel da Vila we can use all the facilities from Estalagem at the top of hill, with beautiful views from the ocean. It really was a great experience, I'm sure...

Absolutely amazing experience! After 5 days in Funchal we decided to adventure ourselves in Ponta do Sol. Hotel da Villa and it's big "sister hotel" Estalagem Ponta do Sol were everything we could look for if not more. The staff were friendly and very helpful, while the services were some of the best we have experienced. Room, view, facilities, the...

All rooms have a sea view and our room on the third floor was perfect. Staff were friendly and attentive when required....

Lovely little hotel with just 15 rooms over 3 floors - they are all the same and all have sea views. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was great and dinner in the restaurant truly excellent. We chose this place to be away from the big hotels in Funchal and try a little village and we were delighted with our choice....

We loved this hotel. We had three rooms for the week and we loved it. Breakfast was great each and every morning. We toured all of the island from this location and didn't miss being in a big city at all. Wonderful location, great prices, great value!
