Due Mori is the only hotel inside the medieval walls of Marostica and it's at only 30 metres from the main square, the Lower Castle, shops and restaurants. The location is perfect for visiting Venice, the Dolomites, Verona and Lake Garda, but also for discovering Northern-Italy off the beeaten tracks. The owner is an English speaking expert tourist guide and organizes private tours to Vicenza, Palladian Villas and lovely medieval towns. The Boutique Hotel is housed in a restored ancient Venetian stately home. The 12 rooms have modern comforts and are furnished by local craftsmen in a combination of traditional and contemporary interior design. Every room has a personal touch: you can choose a room with a view of the medieval castle and walls, a spacious Junior-Suite or a cosy attic room. The en-suite bathrooms have marble floors, wide showers and Philip Stark fittings. The hotel offers private parking, garage and bikes. It has a lovely terrace, where you can have breakfast in the good season, and a renowned restaurant.

Excellent combination of a historical very comfortable stay in an ancient village with the tours of Vicenza, the Marostica castle and a couple of Palladian villas, guided by the passionate Monica. What a pity the unexpected unbelievable closure of the Palladian Basilica in Vicenza between 3:30 and 6:30pm on a Sunday...

The location of the hotel is very good, just next to the piazza... the room and bathroom was really big and clean. The breakfast was ok, but limited selection. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning was working properly. I recommend this place

Great location a few steps from the lower castle. On the Main commercial Street with wonderful shops and restaurants nearby. Friendly, helpful owners who are at the hotel every day. Wonderful hospitality. Room 7 has an incredible view of the upper castle.

We stayed here when my husband was working nearby. The hotel was conveniently located. The hosts were quite friendly and helpful. The problems we had were the beds were quite uncomfortable and were making noise at every movement. Our A/C unit was ineffective for staying on the top floor in July. The breakfast was rather impressive for a continental breakfast and the host provided made to order eggs and bacon. The cappuccino was one of the best I've had.

Dear Tarafied, thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience in TripAdvisor. We are sorry you stayed in Italy in July: this year it was terribly hot and absolutely warmer than in a normal summer, when the temperature is around 30° C. As you know, the AC worked all day long; if outside for some days there are almost 40°C, the rooms under the roof are cool, but not like a fridge. Next time we will reserve for you a room in the first/second floor in the north side of the building and we will offer you a double cappuccino! ;D We don't know what we can say about the bed. It's the first time that a guest tells it "makes noise at every movement". If you told this during your stay, we could give you a different room... now, unfortunely, it's too late! We are happy you enjoyed the other aspects of your vacation and hope you will give us a second chance. Best regards Riadh, Alberto, Monica & Irma

This is the 2nd time in 6 months I've stayed here & once again I can only say what a wonderful hotel this is. There is always a warm welcome from Alberto & his team. The rooms are a great size & beds are comfortable. The breakfast is a traditional continental & it can't be faulted. I will definitely be staying here again.
