We stayed in the guesthouse which is great, big, clean, very posh and close to the city center. Valerio was very helpful and took great care of us, recommending us also great places to eat. The fact that you can whatsapp him for your needs is luxury service. We would come back.

This boutique is without a doubt one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. There’s a total of 7 rooms, and I was traveling with several people. I got to see 5 of the rooms and each was unique and luxurious. Usually rooms in hotels in Italy are pretty small and sparse. This was the complete opposite. The owner took such care with every detail of the hotel. Also the owner is hands on, checking you in, being a concierge and arranging car service and tours and giving restaurant suggestions and making reservations there. And then to top it all off, he made us box breakfasts because we had to leave for the airport before sunrise. His name is Valario and he’s an amazing hotel owner! This hotel is not to be missed. I hope to go back in the future.

Me and my fiancé have just returned from a 5 night stay at this boutique hotel. Our first time in Puglia and we were delighted by everything this hotel had to offer and it’s location. Very helpful staff who helped us throughout our stay and booked many dinner reservations on our behalf. Rooms are a perfect size, ours with a lovely balcony terrace with a stunning view. Very clean! The hot tub on the roof terrace is a great touch, again beautiful views! Breakfast served every morning to our room, always delicious, nice selection of breads, cereal, eggs, ham & cheese, coffees and juices. Location perfect with many things in walking distance. We would definitely recommend to others and hope to be back again :)

A very nice small hotel(more like a B&b) owned and run by an extremely nice young man who was very helpful and knowledge of the area. We had an exceedingly nice breakfast in the courtyard right beside our bedroom. There were no other meals available during the day

If you dont pay attention, the staff take from your credit card an extra payment not contemplate in your reservation!!!! Example that happened to me: “Sir, there is an extra bed in your room”, I said I didnt asked for it, “Oh, no worries, Sir, there is no problem, You are NOT gonna pay for that, maybe was an error in our sistem”. That was a lie. What happened next? “Sir, You gotta pay for that bed because it meant for use work to set the bed ready”. There were no reason. I paid with a deep disappoint. Watch out also when you notify your late check in. I happened to me: one week before my arrive I notified my lat check in: “There is no problem, Sir, We are waiting for you”. I asked if there were a extra payment for the late check in: “Not at all, Sir”. What happened next: “We dont have registried that call and I dont remember have given that info”. Of course I paid for that. Look at the photo next. Watch out with the bathroom, as we know is the fourth time and accident ocurred in there without attention o help from staff “We are sorry, thats the design of the Trullo, we know this things happen”. Its a shame because the place was amazing.

Response from OnComm, Proprietario at Palazzo Scotto
Responded 27 Jul 2019
Dear Guest, Thank you to having noticed us, also in English, your comment about 'The Guest House - Palazzo Scotto' that is not referred to this page. Let me observe that we are not crazy: if we prepared the third bed is because, in the request of the reservation made by your travel agent, where present 3 people, due to that we expect 3 people and also the extra charge for the 3rd bed - THAT WAS NOT APPLIED. Our reception is opened from 15:00 to 20:30. Your arrival was estimated at 10:00 but you only show up at 00:30. In order to let you check in, one of our person in charge, been on duty 4h more: the extra charge is to ensure that somebody polite and english speaking welcome and assist you in the best way possible. Coming to the use of the credit card, the accusation moved by you are unsubstantiated, moreover, offensive and not corresponding to the truth. Best regards, Palazzo Scotto
