We had a relaxing weekend at the villa, and was pleased to have the pool to ourselves and an abundance of privacy. It was just what we were looking for. There were enough restaurants nearby to choose from and didnt have to drive far to reach them thankfully.

B&B Villa Castelcicala is unlike anywhere I have ever stayed before. The main building is stunning. It is full of character and the perfect place to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of Naples. Our villa was spacious and well equipped and we loved the breakfasts in the main building, where the housekeeper ensured we had everything we needed whilst also leaving us plenty of privacy. It's an ideal location for visiting Herculaneum and the Amalfi coast. Highly recommended.

A wonderful setting for us to break our journey in whilst travelling back up to Rome from Calabria. Our small kids loved the pool, doves and the friendly ancient cat. We had the best sleep of our whole two weeks away in our bed in one of the gorgeous rooms - even nicer than the photos. We easily managed a day trip to Amalfi and it was wonderful to come home to such comfort, style and welcome. Gherado is incredibly knowledgable and willing to help you with making your trip a success. We would stay here again in a heartbeat

This former summer residence of a noble family is a real peaceful paradise near to the ugly city of Nola. There is an atmosphere of faded glory, which makes it attractive. The apartments are spacious and fitted with all modern conveniences. Only in one apartment there is a kitchenette, but as breakfast is served and normally you go out for dinner, there is no need for a kitchen. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Do you have a question or a problem? They are immediately willing to help you. A special case is the Srilankese servant, who takes care of the breakfast (and other things). In no time he learns the wishes of the guests and try to fulfill them even before they can ask! Isn't that a a nice service or what? In short, with 15 persons we passed here a very agreeable week, also because of its central position between the many places of interest in the Naples region. I sure can recommend this agriturismo!

Our stay at this beautiful gem was a relaxing escape from busy city lives. The rooms are comfortable and very quiet which helps with the goal of wanting a quiet escape in Southern Italy. The hosts are very attentive and provide a beautiful organic breakfast which makes one really taste Italy for its simplicity. There is a pool which helps to beat the heat. Perfect for couples and families.
