The hotel is very nice and the people working there are really kind and pay attention to all your needs. I stayed in a superior room, but they don't have much more than a regular room (but the view on the valley if you care about it). I suggest to take the half board since the dinner in the restaurant...

Quiet, Comfortable, Clean. All requirements for a place to sleep. Nice interior and exterior design, loved the pool and lawn was comfortable for lounging, staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. The views are the best part, and I loved exploring the nearby mountains and Assergi. This is by far my favorite place in Italy.

We visited the hotel in September which is low season. The hotel is very nice with a nice location and nice decor. However not all rooms have a view. We had to upgrade to have a nice room with a terrace. Still there was no safe in room, no fridge/minibar. The hotel is clean and all the people very nice...

Stayed here for two nights in August. Pros: + Nice view of the mountains from the pool area + A small but nice pool and also a jacuzzi + Modern restaurant and lobby + The staff (most of them) speak English and were friendly Cons: - Our room was small, didn't offer any view and wasn't cleaned properly. Very good hotel in the mountains. The rooms in new building are nicely decorated and clean. No ac! Familyroom is small but good for family of four. Breakfast is bacic italian, good koffee and lots of cakes etc. Restaurant is fine but there is allmost nothing to eat for children. Pool is under renovation, you can't use it.

I have not stayed at this hotel, but have eaten in the restaurant twice. Both times the food and wine were excellent. You can't go wrong with any of the pastas and the mixed grill is very good. The house Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is a wonderful wine and goes beautifully with all of the food.

This was a very nice hotel, and the staff was very helpful. There were two problems for us, though. First, no elevator, and it was a long haul up several flights of stairs to our room. That wasn't great. Secondly, that was the smallest shower stall I've ever seen. I'm a reasonably skinny (but tall) person, and my elbows were...

Best hotel in the area, small and quaint the hotel fits it's surroundings perfectly. Compared to the ugly hotels in the center on town (by the cable car) the hotel is perfect. The restaurant has great food regardless of the fixed menu each night, breakfast on the other hand is very basic and could use some work. However her is...

This was our second stay in Nido dell'Aquila. We appreciated the warm welcome we were given. We had a very comfortable modern room which was reasonably spacious. both room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfasts were good. we appreciated that breakfast began at 7.00 am as this allowed us to get a good start on the mountains. When we...

Such a shame, the hotel was very nice and in a lovely location and the staff were very nice and wanted to help, but we were put in a room with no window, a long thin airless room with a shuttered door at the end even though I had booked it 6 months ago. Sure it would have been fine...
