Quiet when we got there for lunch. The food was mediocre to be honest, we ordered sandwiches and while the toasted ones were nice the salad one was meant to be a chicken salad sandwich….. it was more like an onion sandwich. My dad had a pint of ale, he said it was one of the best he had, had. The service was excellent.
Lovely clean hotel staff lovely especially pablo had time for a chat with us made us feel welcome cant wait to return Hopefully prices will drop a bit as bit expensive for one night especially forJanuary
Comfortable & Clean bedroom and common areas and that’s as far as it goes for good things about this hotel most definitely not 4 Star. Check in as always is super, the bar is a complete mess. Breakfast is cold pre cooked, cheap produce, the only thing that was hot was the tea & toast as you had to make that yourself. Over the past few weeks while staying here on business (not my choice of hotel) I have witnessed 1 particular man dressed in all white work clothes come in for breakfast, firstly he loads up with 3 croissants, jam & butter along with 6 bread rolls and stuffs these in his bag, next he goes and gets 2 yogurts and wraps cold meats in tissue and puts these in his bag, next he brings his own milk carton and fills this from the milk jug used for the cereals and places this in his bag. Once he has his lunch sorted he then proceeds to gather his breakfast, I find this behaviour despicable as he takes almost all the bread rolls that are available along with up to 6 croissants, he seems to be a regular as the staff seem to know him and just turn a blind eye to this behaviour. It’s B&B, not B&B & Lunch, breakfast is provided for residents and should be used as breakfast only. Management may want to replace the award certificates mounted on the walls outside the lifts, these are from 2010, almost 13 years ago, has the hotel received any awards since then????…
Comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Room a good size, well equipped, comfortable bed, Bathroom ok but cold water only from the shower. Breakfast excellent, good knowledge of gluten free choices. Quite expensive, maybe due to very late booking. Thanks Ryanair😬
Went to this hotel for a Christmas night out with family, it was the Danny Roman- Tom Jones Tribute but it was nothing like a Christmas show, the seating arrangement was absolutely terrible we were sitting facing a wall with the stage to the side of us, there was a fire exit either side of the stage witch were both blocked, and when this was brought to the manager’s attention he was so rude and it was brought to his attention by numerous people, we had to clime over seats to get into our seats, they had a comedian on going around the tables but we couldn’t hear a word he was saying, the toilets were so bad they should have been closed they were flooded and vomit in about 5 of the toilets, it was a four course dinner witch was only okay, we weren’t even offered tea or coffee after our dinner, one of the ladies on our table got a spider in her dessert again it was brought to the manager’s attention and again he didn’t care, it most certainly shouldn’t be a four star hotel and I wouldn’t recommend it for any event VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER DM.…
Yeah, the experience was fine. Nothing special. It is very cold in there. There are no outlets near the beds for some reason. Either way, the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a bit far from the city center, though. Dublin doesn't have a metro system and the bus connection is poor. Taxis begin to add up, so just keep that in mind.
Hard to get to, if coming from M50 needing to sharply exit a slip road without entering the bus lane. There follows a turn under a bridge and another right seemingly into oncoming traffic (it isn't). The hotel is accessed through a petrol station. However, the staff were easant and the room comfortable. Breakfast was generic, but OK. The bar had a dreadful singer, whose presence we could have done without, eventually retreating to the foyer. Not rushing back.
The hotel is very clean if somewhat dated, the hotel reception staff are the best I have ever had the pleasure to meet nothing is aprblem and so helpful 👍 pity the bar staff are not as copitent😩 the breakfast is terrific with the chefs so pleasant and again no request is a problem, I recommend any omelet they make, on a bar staff note the waitress are excellent just behind the bar requires attention
We arrived at 15:40, our room was not ready, no explanation given however after a few minutes we where given room 004. Room had clearly not been inspected for the arrival of guests, new towels had to be requested as the ones that where there had hair on them, room was dusty and grimey, this hotel has so much potential and there was so many things that let it down, next day at breakfast the chef was quite rude, informed my self that he cant multitask? I don’t understand why’s he in the role in that kitchen and also offering that explanation I never asked him if his capabilities in a kitchen to begin with. Avoid avoid avoid. The moment I used dash board wipes from my car to wipe our own room down I new our experience would be a bad one….. out of all honestly the host at the restaurant was lovely and showed us around the kitchen when she had asked us if we had been before and I believe the lady at reception who was lovely aswell was called patence went above and beyond, I can’t say the same for Tim in the restaurant who brought us over tea when we hadn’t ordered any and then said “we’ll do use want it or not”…. I would say train your staff in customer service, fire the maintenance team and bring in a cleaning company to train the staff up to a 4 star quality which the hotel states it is.…
Nice clean hotel staff freindly and helpful - bar staff will do anything to make your stay feel welcoming - food standards high - parking is free - rooms cleaned daily Couldn't fault it really good hotel
