Superb catered chalet with stylish accommodation and excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble, nothing is forgotten and your every need is met. From excellent food and wine, to lifts to and from the slopes, great apres ski sauna and hot tub, combined with a good location and tremendous hosts, this chalet is everything that you need. Others have said it, but its worth repeating - Delicious mountain is simply the best

+1
We stayed at Chalet La Chouette in early December 2021 and we were amazed immediately! We were welcomed by a warm fire, a glass of champagne, the other guests who had already arrived, and of course the wonderful Harry alongside his awesome team. This set the tone for the full week!
Each morning started with a wonderful breakfast spread, continental and cooked on request. Freshly baked bread and pastries every morning. Before travelling, I pre-warned Harry that I am dairy intolerant which I thought might be a big issue in France but I was reassured that I would be catered for. I never felt left out with all the beautiful food, Dylan even made delicious milk free pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for breakfast one morning, YUM!!!
After each day of skiing (or apres skiing!!) we were welcomed back to the chalet with afternoon tea comprising of a savoury and a sweet option with a lovely cup of tea or coffee. At around 7pm each evening we were served canapés which were delicious, some of our favourites were the sweetcorn waffle and the mini bloody marys! After the canapés we were served a three course dinner with wine that was perfectly paired with the food each night. The food was always delicious, we couldn't pick a favourite meal but the duck was AWESOME as was the roast beef on the Sunday evening! We often talk about how delicious it was a cannot wait to come again this year to experience it all again. Overall the food and wine was fantastic, we couldn't have asked for more.
We were also really impressed with the accommodation, our rooms were really cosy and clean. The views from our rooms were amazing, every morning after we opened the curtains we were wowed. It is a view you could never tire of. The rooms were always really toasty and warm which was well received after coming back chilly from the mountains. The L'Occitane products that were in the bathroom were a little luxurious surprise and smelt beautiful!
The team that work and run the chalet were a fantastic group, always happy to help and were really friendly. Harry even helped us book and get our covid testing sorted as the rules changed during our stay, nothing was too much of a problem!
Overall, we had an amazing holiday. Everything and more had been thought about from the food and wine to being offered lifts into town and back. We were impressed with everything and we can't wait to come and stay again very soon! Thank you for a great time guys!!

Once again, Delicious Mountain has provided all the elements that are needed for a great ski holiday. From the ease of booking, arranging lift passes, skis delivered to the chalet to the 'delicious' food, drop off and pick up in the Meribel valley and the general attention to every detail that makes the trip so enjoyable. Thanks to all at Delicious Mountain who make this possible.

I stayed in Chalet La Chouette with my family for a week at the end of January. We were very excited for this holiday as we had never stayed in a 'luxury' chalet before so it was a real treat.
The chalet itself was lovely and we especially enjoyed the hot tub with views over the slopes. We thought the pickup service was great and the dinners were delicious.
Unfortunately, a lot was not as advertised. We were expecting to walk into the chalet to find afternoon tea laid out for our arrival, as it was advertised online as being provided 7 days a week. Unfortunately this was not the case, which was gutting as we were starving after travelling all day! Sadly, this theme of things not living up to expectation continued throughout the week.
I also felt that one of the hosts really did not do much of a job at 'hosting'. Quite often when we came down for breakfast the kettle and the coffee machine would both be empty of water - I know it's not hard to fill it up myself however when you pay for 'luxury' service you do expect little things like that to be done. She didn't make much effort with conversation and I felt she was often in too much of a rush to finish the breakfast shift so she could get out skiing, rather than concentrating on giving us good service .Breakfast in general was generally disappointing, as we'd expected a variety of hot options (as advertised online) but instead were only ever offered bacon and eggs or porridge.
On the whole, we did all enjoy our stay but when you go somewhere with high expectations and are met with an experience that doesn't quite offer what it says online, you'll always be somewhat disappointed.

It is unfortunate you did not enjoy your stay with us here at Delicious Mountain, as much as we would have liked you to. This was our second time at Chalet La Chouette, and unbelievable as it may seem, it was even more outstanding than the first time we stayed. The chalet itself is stunning, and has everything you could possibly need for a luxury stay in the mountains. Even when the weather is bad, it's a delight to stay inside - whether in the sauna or the cinema room. The food this year was even more delicious than last year and the chalet hosts were fun, helpful, and made our stay the best ever. Thank you so much to the Delicious Mountain team, especially Ines and Dylan, Ashley, Lou and Stu. We loved it. We hope to be back sometime soon. If you haven't tried Delicious Mountain, it's time to book!

If you like the 'Chalet' experience definitely book here. Not ski in ski out but free taxi service makes this not a problem. Great amenities, really strong food, good wines. Best thing by far was the staff who were simply the best Chalet team I have come across.

A Wonderful Stay
Staff were very friendly and lifts to and from the slopes was a excellent service .
Amazing food especially the duck and chocolate tart plus the scotch eggs at afternoon tea was a great hit.
Hot tub with the cool box of drinks was so enjoyable after a day of skiing.
A turn down service and water put in your room while you were enjoying a delicious meal was a lovely touch.
Best snow we had seen in years which only made the stay even more enjoyable.
Hope to be back again soon x

The chalet is spacious, set over four floors and has comfortable clean accommodation. The hot tub has a fantastic setting with mountain view, the sauna was great and the kids used the cinema room regularly. However, what sets it apart is the wonderful food and excellent customer service from the team. Every evening was a culinary delight prepared by Dylan and served by Harry our host. Backed by the superb Ash, Lou and Stu, who ferried us back and forth to the slopes by minivan. Our party of 15, 6 adults and 9 kids had a really wonderful holiday. Thoroughly recommended. Thank you Harry and all the team.

What an incredible week I had Chalet La Chouette!
I have stayed with other standard chalets companies in Meribel over the years, and thought I'd treat myself to Delicious Mountain this year.
The service I received during my stay was absolutely exceptional! The staff were outstanding, incredibly friendly and would go out of their way to ensure your stay was perfect.
The breakfast, canapés and dinners were just fantastic, to the point I watched what I was eating in the day to ensure I could enjoy the food back at the chalet!
The views from the chalet and hottub were incredible, just adding to a first class chalet!
I will absolutely be coming back, a 5 star stay! Massive thanks to the team for a tremendous holiday!
