If you are a gastronome, you will perhaps have heard of Edouard Loubet. But if you just like the look of a hotel, book online, and ask if there is a table for an evening meal, you might find yourself surprised, as we were. For an intstant, it wasn't a nice surprise - starters 45-70€, mains 60-72€, desserts 30€. But...

An exceptional hotel in a lovely area with an astonished view over the Luberon. The owner Edouard Loubet and his wife are very nice people and you are very well welcomed. The restaurant is wonderful and the rooms very confortable. Nice pool , nice terrases from where you can look at the Sunset. Very quiet and the surrondings are very...

I'll start by saying that the property itself is truly stunning. The buildings are beautiful and overlook the lovely Bonnieux and the nearby valleys. That said, I'd advise that you not make the same mistake I did and be lured by the beautiful photos. The incompetent staff and argumentative owner made our visit unnecessarily stressful. In short, the management levied...

I had the misfortune of eating at this restaurant one evening. We were a group of six. Incidentally, I speak French fluently. The food and the service were horrible beyond words. The rudeness of the staff, the outrageously poor preparation of the food, the indescribable haughtiness of the manager in his sartorial splendor leave me profoundly perplexed how this restaurant...

Dear Madam, Sir, This comment leaves us very perplex. How come it took you 10 months after your visit to write such an outrageous comment ? We absolutely understand and accept that we can’t please everyone. But to suspect Michelin that way? Its accuracy? And the work a of starred chef and his teams ? If you’re that disappointed and...

Restaurant much over-priced. I do not understand persistent high rating in both Michelin and Gault&Millau. This is the third time we gave Mr Loubet a try but he did not, again, live up to expectations. Hotel room in urgent need of refurbishment. Staff very kind but under-qualified.

We have stayed five times with Eduard Loubet since 1999. In July we went back for four days and stayed in the Pigeonnier room which is separate from the main building. We highly recommend the half board formula which allows you to gradually discover his entire menu. On this occasion I found the food to be better than ever before...

We were going with my family to Provence for one week and thought this hotel would be a good option to touch base and travel around as it offered the option of renting an appartment (very convenient with kids and For spending many days in one place). The houses are supposed to be part of the hotel as they are...

I very highly recommend this charming property set in one of Luberon's nicest village. The views are beautiful, the gardens are fragrant and lush, the house is cosy and light. Service is absolutely impeccable. Everything is very well tended to. It operates as a very high end hotel without being pretentious or too fussy. Breakfast alone will make you want...

In need of upgrades. Noisy, understaffed at breakfast, no wifi, room in need of repairs. Mentioned all feedback at checkout and hotel was aware of all issues but had not corrected them. Would not recommend staying at this property again. Other hotels from relais chateaux provided much better hospitality.
